This is a spin off steming from the original concept of "A New Year".
Mostly we thought it would be cool to see our characters placed into a modern society.
....so we did.
Giselle, Jack, Alessa, Emma, Cameron, Ana, Matt and Kaia all live together in Florida. Jack is an actor, who has finally started breaking into mainstream film after being unemployed or taking small pitiful roles. Giselle is his agent, finding him auditions and accompanying him to premieres. Giselle is also carrying Jacks child. Shes a few months in and everything is looking good for her.
After many job changes, Alessa has finally found a niche in entrepeneurship. She opened her own Italian restaurant, which is doing quite well. She is known for her coffee. Jack and Alessas adopted daughter is still with Cameron. After he cheated on her, they seperated for a bit but are now back together and a family is in the works. Cameron is an ER doctor and Emma has almost finished her degrees in criminology and forensics. Ana is still with Tom. Ana is a police officer...the most corrupt one you'll ever come across. Together, her and Emma deal cocaine, and in turn have a large sum of money. Due to the fact that Ana is a police officer, any suspicions about the duo given to police are discarded. Told ya she was a corrupt cop. Matt and Kaia....are just around.

Age: 21-ish

History: En route from her home of London to the Carribean, the ship she and her parents were on was attacked by pirates. Emily was only about 14 when this happened. Knowing that no one on the ship would survive, her parents placed her in a life boat and cast her off. At least she would have a chance of rescue.
Luckily, her little boat crossed the path of the Black Pearl.
She was brought aboard, but wasn't accepted right away. It wasn't until she and Alessa bonded that she felt very welcome. Not long after that, Alessa adopted Emma. Glad she finally had a family again, Emma embraced the pirates life.
In one port, one guy stowed away. However, it was the work of Alessa, who just wanted someone for her daughter. Everything worked out, and Emma and Cam are still together.
Emma turned alcoholic for a bit, completely depending on the drink. When she was drunk and unknowingly slept with some random guy...Cam threatened to leave if she didn't stop. This was all the motivation she needed.
(this is kinda along the lines i was thinking of. and then everyone posts their characters now)
