Would you ever Stop?

Hey guys,

I was just wondering: Would you ever stop rping ? for whatever reason ?

I don't think I would I think I'm one of those people who stays no matter what lol. even if school would take up lots of time then I'd try to rp in the weekend that sorta stuff.
How bout yu ?

I don't know.. I don't know whether I'll continue rping when I'm in University / living on my own. Because I don't even know whether I'd have internet or anything! Or whether I would have the time. I suppose I just gotta wait and see

I feel as if ive had major chances coming up that would make it easy for me to leave, its like im not supposed to be allowed to rp properly anymore... but i dont want to loose it.
Its always kinda hard to imagine life with out crystal and such in my head because its all i ever think about even though i cant rp it anymore. I hope that soon ill get into somethin better so i can focas on that... itll probably drive me crazy one of these days because i cannot let any of it out of my head..

I would stop RPing if there were reasons for it... actually, I had a RP-free-month ('cause my only RP was finished and there was no new one), at first it was quite difficult, but, after all, I can easily live without this addiction.

I still *love* it to pieces, but if there are real reasons - like, too little time for studying - I will stop it.

hmm I guess to be rp is like a reason to be socialising yknow ? I keep up with the people I am in with an rp. If that fades away then I guess I'd feel isolated and like a total stranger to anyone cause I already don't talk to everyone that much.

^^ The thing I was most afraid of when I stopped rp'ing was that I was SO sure I would loose ya'll as my friends :/ I really thought that if I didn't have the rp together with any of you, then I'd have nothing in common! Now fortunately I know that it wasn't/isn't true and that I still have ya'll as friends But yeah, since most of us met through this sites roleplays and we got to know eachothers through the rp, I know how hard it is to let the rp go cause in a way, at least I feel like that; that I've lost the biggest part that brought us together in the first place, even if that might not be the case since we're still talking to eachothers and are friends But sometimes it's really hard when your friends are still roleplaying like "me and them" used to, though you're not a part of it anymore. But luckily I know that I can keep my friends here even if I've dropped the rp It's just a pain in the @ss sometimes, but I make it

Mandy: yes, unfortunately, that's true for me as well. When I wasn't RPing, I felt very left-out and excluded from all the forum-company But, after all, RPing isn't the main purpose of this forum, is it?..

And yeah, but you (Lana) were online on the forum a loooong time before you started roleplaying, I can't imagine really cause the first thing I did when I got registered was that I ended up roleplaying, so I never really did anything else on the forum except for roleplaying Now when I stopped doing that, I realize how much other stuff there is to talk about and do here on the forum that I never even thought about checking out for that whole year (and some more) that I was only rp'ing! Now I realized that I can still be here on the forum eventhough I dont' rp cause there are so much other stuff, as you say, to do Only I didnt do anything else than rp'ing when I first got here

It must have been a big relief to know that you still had the forum friends after hell you've even been to holland ;D
I don't think I have that here, and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have many friends from this forum if I wouldn't rp. I guess that's why I'd never be able to drop it. I'd stick to barely rping but completely stopping... I'd have to be put away into a straightjacket to get off it haha
