I was wondering if anyone was interested in starting an rpg that is not based on pirates whatsoever, instead, it is an anime based rpg where a war is starting between feudal warlords? I'm still working out the kinks, however.......... Quoted to be seen... anyone?  ? |

Meh,going crazy. I have this really good idea for an RPG.But I can only get on on weekends now because of school. And I don't want this role-play to up and die so I'm talking it through on here first to see if anyone would be interested. I've had a few vampire RP's in the past (they all died).Well.recently an idea popped in my head of mortals discovering the vampires and a war starting,yeah,and that's as far as I got.Hopefully some wonderful person who loves me will help me add to it.lol. I want to have like,every vampire character known in it like Dracula,Edward Cullen,The Vampire Lestat,etc.

I've never done a POTC rp before, but I really wanted to since the moment I first got here. I wanted mine to sound like something Disney would do as a real sequel. My rp idea is pretty interesting if anyone is up for it. I wanted to start it, but I'm afraid it might die before it was given the chance, so I thought I post up the idea if anyone wants to join in.
In my roleplay idea, it will start somewhere near the end of the third movie. After Davy Jones' death, his spirit surivied and is going to control the seven seas, so Jack, Will, Elizabeth and everyone (including Teague) will team up to defeat him before it's too late, but they can't do it without the help of Haley, Jack's long-lost sister he hasn't seen in years since they were children so they have to find her because she has a special necklace with jewels on it that Jack gave her a long time ago that holds the key to destorying dark spirits, with the help of Haley's pirate-like skull flower birthmark from her left hand, but it could invole powerful sacrifice for Haley and possibly the crew too.
I know it sounds pretty dark for a roleplay, but I could use a lot of people to join before I start the idea. What do you think? Sound good?

The problem with that sort of thing is that you have to think of everyone else. A lot of people come on here and start roleplays that center around there own character and it dosn't really work out because people don't really want to play the lower characters, it would basically just be you and all the others tagging along behind, if you see what I mean? Maybe if you made one with a lot more chance to have other original characters or something?

Hmmm...I was thinking it over when you said that. Because sometimes whenever I start new roleplay, they'll wind up being slow or dead before it can began, but the orginal characters are always welcome too. If all of the roleplays were still focus on the fan made ones, then there really wouldn't be no interest. Am I right?

No, there are plenty of roleplays that arn't actually anything to do with the films at all.
And sometimes they are still pirates but might just involve Jack or someone, not giving any refrences to the film plotlines.
