I shudder in fear, my hands shaking again.. I have nowhere to go now, because I know that they'll see me so easily.. I peer around the corner and see them lifting a body out of the carriage and up the path.. a familiar body.

They carry me inside and put me down on a rug (?) on the floor. That movement wakes me up slightly, and my eyes snap open in alarm. I try to sit up, but one of the farmers sons puts a hand on my shoulder and doesn't let me. He says something which I don't understand, but he doesn't snap or yell like the guards used to. Still, I don't feel at ease, and I try to get up again.

When they go inside I try to move across the front lawn, fast to the main path once more.. but as i do theres shouting from one of the boys inside..
I start to run.

I sit up instantly when someone shouts, in a reflex. It's only the boy by the window though. But I use the commotion to be able to get up, and as I do I spot a girl running away. Crystal. I try to walk to the door, and the people let me.

One of them runs after me.. grabbing me and pointing at the sheet.. rambling in that terrifying language of theirs..
I stand there listening to them yell at me... and as they go on it yets much more slurred and quiet.. and..
Then theres black.

I stumble my way over to the boy and Crystal, and just when I reach them she collapses. The boy breaks her fall but lets her lay on the ground, and I sink down by her side. Everything's spinning. Everything. I shake her to wake her up.
The farmer and his boys gather around us and say something to me, but I shake my head telling I don't understand. "Help?" I ask.

"We mean no harm and.." My voice cracks, and I realize that they can't understand me either. "Please help." I put my hands together in a pleading gesture. As if I'm praying. The farmer exchanges a look with his wife who has joined the company, and then nods and says something to his boys. They help me up, and two of them lift Crystal up as well. The whole company returns to the house soon after. I feel nauseous and dizzy, and only am aware of half what's happening.

"Let me go.." I groan, through staggered words... but slowly I start to fall asleep... after that theres nothing but heavy breathing.

~Much later~
I wake up slowly. I blink my eyes against the light of the dawn.. I'm not used to the light, and it stings my eyes. But it's good. I like feeling uncomfortable because of it, because at least it's light. I'm not sure where I am though, so I slowly sit up. I'm on a blanket on the floor, another blanket it laying huddled up as a pillow. I look around and remember everything. Running. The chinese farmer and his wife and boys. Crystal. I look aside and find her laying on the other side of the room. It's just the two us, and two sets on blankets, and a curtain to close the room in the doorway.
