The sea. I rest my head on my knees and I close my eyes. The second I do, a sudden thought overwhelms me.
The continuous cry of a seagull sounds above. I front of me is the endless ocean, forever moving but constant nonetheless. The seabreeze whips my hair around without mercy, but it makes me feel good. It makes me feel free. It makes me feel whole. The surface of the water stretched in front of me is set alight by the reflection of a million stars. And I smile. In the utter darkness around me, I smile in satisfaction.
I snap my eyes open instantly again, and the image is gone. ..What was that?

I look up at her and meet her gaze. "I.." I start, though I don't know what I want to tell her. I remembered something? Something from my dark and mysterious past, that seemed so out of reach for me? The sea has something to do with it? What could I possibly tell her that wouldn't sound so cryptic.
Eventually I change my mind about telling her at all. I look away again. "I know" I mumble.
