The last thing I remember is him laying me down on what felt like soft ground.. grass-covered.. meadow...
The grass is coarse though..
Not that it makes much difference.
Its heaven against the pain I have right now.
Im so cold..

I couldn't go on any more, so I laid her down and am suddenly catching my breath, feeling my limps shaking in discomfort. I breath in deeply, knowing we'll have to go on soon. It's dark by now and I've seen a few lights far away. A village, I hope.

That scares me, cos I realize that if I would too, we're in trouble. So isntead of resting I get up again, and pick her up carefully.
