I back away when he snaps at me like that. Right now I just wanna punch him in the face. Most of all, I just wanna punch him senseless. But that's not because of him, it's because I'm so angry about this happening to us, and I'm so angry at not being able to *do* anything! I realize that Jack *is* trying to help.. he's the only one I can count on right now. And directing my anger at him is something I probably shouldn't do. So instead of punching, I draw a hand through my hair as I look away. "Right." I murmer.

"I know!" I snap, and immediately realize that that's exactly the behaviour he's talking about. I fume and clench my fists. "I just.." I have to blink to keep the tears from coming. Dammit where do these keep coming from!? I bite my lip until I'm sure I won't cry, and I finally turn to face Jack again. "Sorry" I tell him, trying not to be angry or crying or frustrated or scared to death. "I'm just.. mixed up." I admit. "It'll pass."

I look into his eyes, and feel reassured by what I see in them. He doesn't *seem* scared like me. He doesn't *seem* as desperate. And right now, that's good enough for me. So I nod, deciding that I'll do my best. "I'll try" I promise.

I check whether I have my pistol with me, and when I'm sure that I do I slip my hand into his. My heart is pumping twice as fast as usual. I'm dead-scared of what we are to expect, but I know I'll have to deal with it to get Jimmy back. So I nod to tell Jack I'm ready and together we leave the ship.

As soon as we leave the ship I take Anne over to the harbormaster, he informs us that the something Bells is right in the middle of town and impossible to miss.

That's a good thing if we're gonna be shooting at it later. Yes, I'm still pissed, but I managed to get a hold of myself so I keep the comment inside. Together with Jack I try to find our way to the inn as quickly as we can.
