I look around the market and of course I want to eat EVERYTHING right now. Pie, bread, fruit, cookies .. .it all seems nice. "What's the best way to spend our money?" I ask Jack 'We need lots of food for as little money as possible" I chuckle, figuring out that the more money we keep the more we can eat later ;D

I smile and point at a stand that sells all kinds of food - tartlets, pastries, but also sweet things like cookies and sugered apples. "What about that?" I ask. It sure *smells* good.

I nod and drag Jack over to the stand. "ooh this smells great!" I smile and close my eyes again. I realize that now that my stomach is growling I feel even more dizzy by just smelling that food. 'We want cookies and tartlets' I start to order.

"And two of those apples." I point, "And.." The woman of the stand looks down at them sceptically. Her gaze is met with a girl in a torn dress, the rim dirty and her hair messy. And a boy. Dirty clothes, a smear of blood still on his face, and his hair ruffled up and sticking into random directions. She snorts and turns away to help someone else. Streetkids. They only want to steal her goods. "We got money!" I say before she can help someone else. I know how this works.. people never want to help, unless you proove to be beneficial for them. "Here." I dig some out of my pocket and show it. The woman looks back and frowns. "Prolly bloody stolen." She mutters, but she grabs their order together hastedly.

I shrug. Money is money right?
Once the lady packs the things we want we take the bags and leave the stand 'Shall we go back to the alley?" I ask Jack, not sure where else we should eat our dinerylunchstuff.

"I know a better place." I tell her, and I lead her through the Tortugan streets once more. I found out about the place not so long ago. It's a shack on the land of a farmer, just on the edge of the town. During the midday hours he's away from home working, and he takes his two big dogs with him. Then it's safe to stay there. He has a wife of course, but her eyes are crummy and she wouldn't see anyone sneaking through the garden if the person was dressed up as a clown. So for just those few hours, until the sun starts to set, the shack is a hideaway only I know about.
We reach the low white fence 'round the farmer's estate and I put the bag over it first, before I climb over myself.

I smirk "More climbing?" I mumble, figuring that I have done that enough already today, and my clothes won't look better of it. I do follow Jack though because curiousity always wins. So silently I climb over the fence.

I help her get down from the fence before I pick the bag up again, and we continue our way. "Shh" I tell her, cos eventhough the lady's eyes are bad, her hearing is perfect. We sneak through the garden to the back of the house, and the old shack comes in sight. I take her over to it and open the door which creaks slightly.

As silent as possible I go inside and look around the shack. Wow... he must know a lot of cool places here! 'How did you find this?" I ask him, still staring around the place. It's not that much really but it'll certainly do and it's better then eating in an alley

"I hid here once." I explain, smiling slightly cos she seems to like it. "When my father was after me." I go over to the only window in the shack and place the board that's next to it in front of the gaping hole. That way the farmer, *if* he returns, wouldn´t notice us right away. We'd hear him of course, so at least we'd have some time to run from those mean dogs of his.
Now that the board is in front of the window though, it gets earthdark in here. "There's a candle somewhere on your right." I whisper to Giselle, cos for some reason it seems appropriate to whisper, "And matches."
