I look at her for a while, and then a vague smile comes to my features. "Well, if yer up to a long story.." I offer.

"I am", - I agree willingly, leaning my back against the wall and looking at Jack with curiosity.

"Very well," I think of where to start for a moment.. considering she knows the whole history of the mutiny, up to when I left her. So instead of mentioning all that happened those years that I still searched the Pearl, I begin my story in Port Royal.. with the entrance that a story like these deserves, of course.

I listen to his story attentively, laughing rather much, 'cause he makes it all sound rather humorous, especially the talk with those two weirdo's - Murtogg and Mullroy. Some time passes, Jack talking and me - listening, sipping my rum.

"And so," I finish, as more time passed than either of us expected, "As a final blow I pulled the trigger." I make the motion of shooting with my left hand, "And as the coin dropped in the chest, the Pearl was mine once more." I finish.

Quite much time passed while Jack was telling me this story, incredibly interesting and not so believable at times... 'cause, hell, I could put up with a mermaid and Poseidon, but living skeletons?! Hmmm... though, a bottle of rum certainly made me much more naive and easily fooled, if Jack fooled me. Though, somehow, I tend to believe in all that undead-monkeys...
"Is he dead now?" - I ask him.

(( when Jack and Ana came back ondecks, Jack noticed Scarlett practising with her sword, he helped her, teaching her to fight again. Then they went to the galley to have some rum, and now Jack is telling Scarlett the story about how he found the Pearl ))

"Dead as the devils grandmother." I confirm, and I bloody well hope it's true. I've come to a point that I don't easily trust Aztecs gods anymore. Hell knows what tricks they might just pull of on me. But as time passes it seems that Barbossa is really gone for good. Perhaps I should go back to Isla de Muerta one day, to make sure and see whether there's any treasure to be salvaged from the oceans depths..
Well.. one day.
So far I'm quite content with me current live and occupation. The thought of that brings a grin to my face at the moment, and I get up from my seat again, "Anyhow," I make a dismissive gesture in Scarlett's direction, "More rum?"

I grin at him. This story was undoubtedly interesting and fascinating, and I am happy that he got his Pearl back, after these years of searching, disappointments and pain.
"I don't think so", - I smirk. - "I think I've had enough for tonight", - I say and actually... I do that 'cause I wanna be able to control myself. I don't want anything stupid to happen... I mean, I want it to happen! But I can't let it happen, can I?.. I am just tired of lying to myself and I find it easier to admit that I still feel for Jack.
