"Hmm?" I was a little occupied with getting her back into my embrace to immediately know what she's talking about. "Ah, the wound." I shrug my shoulders. Truth is, it's bein' a little more painful than before. Not much, but just.. noticable again. But that doesn't matter, as long as the stitches remain intact I'm good. So I give her an assuring answer; "Peachy. In the meaning of good, not actually like the fruit." I smirk.

"Oh, good", - I smile, tracing my finger across his chest tenderly... it's actually unbelievable. Just yesterday I imagined a high, unbreakable barrier separating us from each other, but now I am already in his tight embrace, and everything seems to be back in place. The life seems to have come back to normal. - "Mmm... I'd love to eat a peach right now, by the way!"

I smirk and place a kiss on top of her head "A peach it is, luv.. soon as ye got some sleep." I'm quite tired myself, but I wait until I'm certain that she is asleep before I close my eyes and cuddle closer against her. I know we won't be getting much sleep.. within time we'll reach Calais and I will have to get up. But I dont give a d@mn. If each night could be like this, sleep would only be a waste of time anyhow.

"Sleep well", - I mumble, already half-asleep, and, true enough, I doze off pretty soon, being tired, but happy at the same time. It's unbelievable, but it's true: everything is back to its place, my life has been built up again, and I can smile sincerely again. I pull close to Jack, yawning once more and finally falling asleep, feeling warm and protected.
