"Why?" I ask, getting up with a confused frown on my face, "I mean, Scarlett or Faith.. I get that." I assure him (though I just realized that hell, that's an impossible decision), "...but the Pearl? What do Scarlett or Faith have to do with the Pearl?"

I stare at him in disbelief, feeling the last bit of optimism that remained crumble into ashses... If I am to choose between Faith, Scarlett, or my Pearl.. I'd be to choose between only the three things that *ever* mattered to me. How the hell could they expect me to do THAT?
I back away slowly, feeling almost nauseous with all of this..
