"Mmm.. me too." I stick with Yori's reply. I cant be bothered to go into any other explinations. "Are you tired too?" I ask Layla

"Maybe we should all head back. I dont know how long the others will be." I sit up a little more, letting the sand fall off of my back without bothering to use my hands. I figure ill get sandy again anyways.. "Im pretty tired and dont feel like falling asleep right here when the tide comes in any further."

Evey had stood in the knee deep water and turned to watch them all walk back towards the condos. She looked up at the night sky and then around at the beach that was slowly emptying. The water is cold... I've never been swimming... yes, I have... don't like Evey... I can't... She shook her head and ducked under the surface quickly so that the cold water would get her head to stop contradicting itself... for now at least. After a while, she headed back up to the beach and took a seat besides her shopping bag with her old clothes and new money in it. Money. I have money. She ran a hand through her wet hair and layed back on the sand, looking up at the stars, her eyes growing heavy. It didn't bother her to sleep here, like this in a swimsuit and on the sandy beach-- this was a nice place to sleep. It didn't smell like trash and sewer here. It smelled like ocean salt and the sand was warm and soft... like a bed. How would you know what a bed feels like?
