In his mind he was smirking at Faye, but he was too tired for it to have shown on his face yet as he made sure the coffee was running. He picked out a cigarette and a lighter from the package that were laying ontop of the kitchen fan and he walked over to the window, opened it slightly and leaned with his back against the wall beside it and lit the cigarette, took a drag then blew the smoke out for the slight breeze outside to catch it. "Had a tough schoolday?" he asked as he looked at Sarah

I yawn and start throwing all the "cooked eggs" into the garbage-bin, cringing slightly at the sight of eggs with all the shells - doesn't look appetizing at all, and especially for me. I take a few loafs of bread, some cheese and bacon and start making breakfast-toasts for Blake and Faye. While the bread is in the toaster, I sit down onto the chair, stretch again and glance at Blake when he addresses me. His words make me remember about yesterday and my face darkens immediately.
"Yeah..." - I say gloomily. - "It s*cks. The bitch in literature-class told me I'd get expelled if my literary work didn't win the Contest this year. And you?"

Faye stumbled into a few things in her room as she picked out clothes to wear after she showered. She finally managed to collect the things and set them on the sink counter. She shut the door, not bothering to lock it-- Sarah wouldn't come in, and if she did it didn't matter and Blake sure as hell wouldn't come in... I think at least. She reached into the shower and turned it on cold to start with. It would sober her up to start with a cold shower. A warm one just might make her pass out as she'd learned over the four years of being here. Rule number 36: Don't take a warm shower when you're wasted. While the shower ran behind her, Faye turned to look in the mirror as she pulled off her clothes. Of course, like most girls she wasn't extremely happy with what she saw-- but there were ways of dealing with it. After the shower. She told herself, feeling the little baggy in her pant pocket just to be sure it hadn't gone anywhere. She finally had her clothes stripped off and she got into the cold shower, shivering as the water paled her skin and set her trembling-- she could deal with it though and it was a great cure for getting sober... maybe not a cure for someone that wanted to be drunk though.

He took another drag, rubbed his green eye and looked at the coffee maker longingly as he replied to Sarah; "It was good. Long fucking day though.." the drops of the black coffee was teasing his eyes and senses as he kept looking at it. No getting dressed, no real waking up before the coffee, that was for sure

"Me too", - I told him, - "had to stay in the stupid library and try to write something... they just don't understand that I can't write if they just snap their fingers! I need... something for writing... a push..." - I shrug, thinking, that, perhaps, Blake will understand, 'cause he tries to create music and therefore he must know that you can't write a masterpiece just because *someone* wants you to.
The toaster splutters the toasts out and I stand up again, to make a few sandwiches with the toasted bread. "Coffee's almost ready", - I say.

Faye spent at least 10 minutes in the freezing cold shower before she got out and quickly wrapped a towel around herself, taking a seat on the covered toilet seat and bouncing her legs up and down. She was jittery and she knew exactly why. Being drunk had its perks, but she was learning that being high had better ones. She waited a while before getting dressed in a similar outfit, black cargo pants and white wife-beater shirt, black bra underneath. It was simple and comfortable, the look that Faye was mostly trying to accomplish. When she finished she did lock the bathroom door and pulled up her camo pants from the floor reaching into the pocket and pulling out a thin bag filled with white powder-- they called it cocaine... she called it heaven. The line she created on the sink counter was as thick as a pencil but only half the size of it. She'd tried snorting it through a straw a number of times, but Faye enjoyed the burning sensation and tingling feeling it gave her when she snorted it directly through her nose-- as she did now, taking several sniffs before it was completely gone. She stood back up straight and had to grab the side of the counter as she swayed and her eyes nearly rolled back in her head. Damn that shit is good.

"Yeah.." he said and put his cigarette out and walked over to the coffeemaker and took out two cups. "What do you have to write about then? Or you have to come up with that aswell?" he walked over to the table and put down the filled coffeecups before he sat down infront of his and sipped. mmmm heaven!

"Bon appetit", - I smirk when I put his sandwich onto the plate and place the plate next to him. Sitting down, I take my cup of coffee and enjoy the deep bitter smell, closing my eyes for a moment and taking a deep breath.
"I have to come up with everything... Story, idea, words - whatever. They just expect me to create something outstanding simply because that old freak of a professor wants to get her share of the award - 10 thousand bucks... and if I don't get the award and she doesn't get her share out of it, she'll do everything she can to expel me", - I shrug.

Faye waited another ten minutes to let the drug settle in her system. It always had a different effect and maybe that was the fun of it-- like a game. Never know what you're going to get... although this time it wasn't very fun. She felt paranoid because of the lack of sleep and sobering attitude and it would quickly lead to snippy comments and lazy bitterness. She wandered back into the kitchen where the others were after she'd cleaned up the bathroom of any traces of the cocaine. Her eyes were foggy and glazed over and she went straight for the fridge to get a soda without saying a word to the other two.

He took a bite out of the toast. "Woah..that's heavy"
He glances up at Faye as he sips more of his coffee, watching to see if she manages to hold the bottle of soda without dropping it to the floor. Apparently a rough day for her aswell
