"Well, it seems we are headed in the same direction, I don't see why we wouldn't." Van Helsing replied to her calmly-- quite different from last night and the day before.
Rain raised a brow as he left, then looked around the nearly empty room. "Alright..." She said to herself and got up slowly, then jogged back up the stairs to where the rooms were.

Liz looks at Van Helsing, kind of surprised by his acting now. She smiles and nods. "Okay.." she turns her back towards him, preparing her horse.
"Have you been working for the church for a long time now..?" She asks softly

Van Helsing stopped with what he was doing and narrowed his eyes, "Who told you that?" It was obvious enough though that it had to be Rain.
Rain had been walking right past his door and when he came out unexpectedly, she tripped right over him and fell down to the floor on her stomach with a grunt, "Umpf!"

Van Helsing grunted and finished packing up his horse, "Yeah, she has a tendency to help people remember."
Rain raised a brow, "Uh... what's that mean?" She asked as he helped her up.

Liz let go off her horse and walked over to him, studying his face for a moment. "The great Van Helsing.." A small smile played around her lips.
"I heard a lot of stories about you.. but.." She grins a bit and walks back to her horse. "Don't worry.. it's fine... I think"

Van Helsing watched her carefully out of the corner of his sharp eyes, "I doubt the stories you heard of me were very good ones. The public has a tendency to think of me as a murderer."
"Yes, I think you only nearly killed me." Rain smiled, light-hearted about almost everything.
