"Do tha', luv." I agree, getting up as well. "When we arrive, don't go anywhere just yet, savvy?" I tell her.

I wonder what the reason for that is, but decide not to pester him any further. "Aye," I say softly, smiling at him just a little, closing the door behind me. I make myself useful for a little while, thinking about the night before, trying to make sense of anything we'd said. I can tell under all the sin, Jack is full of grace, wisdom, and mystery. I have never seen his tears but I think they are probably like drops of turquoise or liquid silver, like tiny moons and stars showering from his eyes. I silently reprimand myself for thinking of him in fairy tale terms once again. . .but that seems to be the only way I can relate to things anymore. This seems so unreal.

Aye, the second we all get to work Tortuga is on the horizon. But it's not until another two hours later that the Pearl smoothly glides into the bay that surrounds the harbour, and some later still we're safely anchored just a little off the docks. The noise and brawling from the town clearly find their way over the water, and fill the ears of those aboard the ship. The crew is in the best of moods, with the prospects of some days of 'peace and quiet' in the Pirate Paradise. I find myself to be quite cheerfull as well.
Ahh, sweet Tortuga.
First though, I resign some crewmembers to keep watch for the day, making agreements with the rest of the crew and such. No one is complaining about the jobs they're resigned to. For a change. But I'm not surprised, like any other I can't wait to set foot ashore either.

Jack seems like he's in a fair mood today. It can't be because he got alot of sleep last night. . .and so it must be Tortuga. Personally, I see nothing about this dark, dingy town that pleases me. Keeping my word, I stay fairly close to Jack, not scared, but a little disgusted. I figure nothing could happen to me here that hasn't already happened. (Okey. . .I'll be on and off all day as well I'm going to a friend's house so I'm not sure if I'll be able to get on there.)

"Stay close for a while, luv. There's not exactly another town such as this." I advice Rae, before we as well make our way onto the docks of this hideout. As I step foot ashore, I spread my arms wide, "Aah, sweet Tortuga!" I take a deep breath... then double over, coughing. Right. NOW I remember the less romantic version of Tortuga. "As I was sayin'." I scrape my throat.

I stifle a laugh. "What's so special about this place?"

"Well, obviously there's.." I narrow my eyes in thought.. Then I notice the redhead marching up to me, and I bring a great grin of surprise onto my features. I spread my arms to welcome her. "Scarlett!"
The sound of the slap echoes in my head, and I mouth a little 'oh', before I turn back to the Rae, while the redhead marches off. "I'm not sure I deserved that." I tell her.

"Oh, yes, that's a great advantage." I narrow my eyes. "Next time you sleep with her, make sure to acknowledge her existence for more than a day, eh?"

"I did! ...I.. acknowladged her existance again today." I point out. Not so bad, is it?
