"For wanting me to be so carefree and happy, you're sure-" but once I see the serious look on his face, I cut myself off. "I guess I figure I've been through enough to think it won't hurt when it's over." I've come to terms with the fact that it could be over in who knows how long. "But I know that that's a lie. I don't know what else to do; all I know is, I'd give you everything I have if there was something left. There doesn't seem to be much left to hurt me with."

"Good." I state. Then I frown.. reconsidering that. "...Well I suppose that depends on the way you're looking at it, bu' yer catching me drift." I smirk at her.

I'm about to reply to that with something not all too interesting, when Cassandra barges in the door. I guess she's above knocking, or something, and I roll my eyes, wondering what she could want.

I glance at Cassandra, taking a wary step back cos you can't be too sure with her. "That's me name, don't wear it out." I tell her. "You're early."

Ah. So it's not longer 'are we'. We have now progressed to the point of 'when will we'. I recognize Cassandra's ways in that quite obviously, and under any different circumstance I would've found it amusing. Endearing, even. She hasn't changed one bit.
"Soon." I promise, "That is, IF you can actually tell me where the hell we're headed." I narrow my eyes.

"Theres no reason why I should tell you untill we are out on that ocean and theres no coming back. Im not letting you leave for it without me. I know you mind too well, Jack Sparrow."

...She bloody well does. I'm afraid I'll have to admit that. I narrow me eyes as I give her a long glare, but she glares right back which tells me I will be the one giving in first in this matter. I hate it when that happens.
Eventually I sigh and make a dismissive (and rather vague) gesture with my left hand. "Alrigh'! Fair enough. Then at least tell me how long we'd be sailing." I look at her, raising an eyebrow. "Or do you suppose we can make it without any supplies aboard, eh luv?" I stretch the last word.
