No,I don't, I only know of the European side of vampires,I'm originally from Auvergne,France Lestat told him In 1781 I was kidnapped by a very old vampire and tortured for a week then turned, left to fend for myself with no knowledge of anything of what I was. he had decided to give Edward a bit on himself so he know of his age and all that, just in case he decided to trust this boy.
((Auverge,France is a really small town, his family was rich and lived in an old castle that sat back from the village, his father being a blind count and he had six older brothers who hated him for being so close to his mother (whom he later turned because she had tuberculosis and didn't want to lose her).))

I'm surprised by his willingness to share information; my own had been a very bold move. I'm sure Carlisle would enjoy meeting you. Actually, he. . .has a very interesting history, too, you'll find. He came from London, in the 1650's. He was the only son of an Anglican pastor. His mother died giving birth to him. His father was an intolerant man. As the Prtestants came into power, he was enthusiastic in his persecutions of Roman Catholics and other religions. He also believed very strongly in the reality of evil. He led hunts for witches, werewolves. . .and vampires. They burned a lot of innocent people- of course the real creatures that he sought were not so easy to catch. When the pastor grew old, he placed his obedient son in charge of the raids. At first Carlisle was a disappointment; he was not so quick to accuse, to see demons where they did not exist. But he was persistent, and more clever than his father. He actually discovered a coven of true vampires that lived hidden in the sewers of the city, only coming out by night to hunt. The people gathered their pitchforks and torches, of course- I chuckle heartily in my head at this- and waited where Carlise had seen the monsters exit into the street. Eventually one emerged. He must have been ancient, and weak with hunger. Carlisle heard him call out in Latin to the others when he caught the scent of the mob. He ran through the streets, and Carlisle- he was twenty-three and very fast- was in the lead of the pursuit. The creature could have easily outrun them, but Carlisle thinks he was too hungry, so he turned and attacked. He fell on Carlisle first, but the others were close behind, and he turned to defend himself. He killed two men, and mad eoff with a third, leaving Carlisle bleeding in the street. Carlisle managed to hide himself. . .and the rest, well, is easily guessed.(Whew. *breathes* I have to go )

Interesing Lestat felt his surprise, and laughed The reason I'm so willing young one,is you will soon discover I'm a bit in love with myself as it were. And your friend sounds as interesting as you make him appear. But what of the boy I see in front of me?

(bye! ) As soon as the bell rings I get up from my chair. I look at Edward one last time, nod a little as for saying goodbye and make my way over to the door when this guy, called Mike comes over to me and starts chatting

In between classes I see Edward in the halls and smirked, I see You've decided that you are going to introduce a visitor to Carisle. What are his plans for here? Not to hunt humans I hope. I ask him mentally hoping he'd answer me after school.

Before I leave the class I stare back at this man. Maybe another day.
And on the note of Alice: I have no idea. He's an outsider, definitely. Unlike anything I've ever seen before.

I look over my shoulder at Edward before leaving class. I still want to ask some questions. Some things are not clear.. at all.
