Soon enough me and Babette reached the centre of town, where all the good dress-makers were. We got out of the carriage and walked towards a shop " It is strange though, I have never seen a picture of him, but his letters , his writing, it just took my heard without a fuzz' I say, almost sounding dreamy when I think about my husband to be that I am going to meet tomorrow.

Babette smiled to herself. She was maybe a year younger than her cousin, but had not met a man of whom she was to marry as of yet.
"It must be wonderful," Babette added, "To not even have met the person...but yet to know them so well..." Their heels clicked softly as they walked on the cobblestone paths.

I giggle a bit 'Oh don't worry Babette, you too will soon find a man like my wonderful Cunnaway, I assure you that' I tell her and I smile at her. I've always been very fund of her, we've been best friends ever since I could remember, so it should be even better if we both end up with the men we love and dream off..

Babette looked over and smiled back. She had always looked up to Sophie as a sister and a best friend as well. She took great pride in hearing those words from her. They continued to travel looking into the shops as they went along.

Soon enough we've reached a shop in wich I find a nice summary-like dress, long, green-ish with some flower-motives on it. 'Ohh this is absolutely stunning! I think he will be totally blinded by me if I wear this tomorrow!'

(  That wouldn't be good. xD ) Babette examined it for awhile with Sophie. It was absolutely gorgeous! "Sophie, I'm sure you would look absolutely stunning in this!" She exclaimed, holding a piece of the fabric in her palm. Babette looked around on her own for awhile as well before she found a darker red colored gown. It had a grand stomacher design and cut off sleaves with lighter colored lace flowing from them. |

(I'm going to be switching to first-person Because pretty much every body else is using it) I nod in approval of her dress of choice, then answer her question directed to me. "Oui," I look back at the dress in my hands and hold it up to my body. "What do you think of this one?" |
