Little Italy

One o'clock in the morning, around that time the friends group gathered underneath the bridge in town, usually around that time, right after having said goodbye to eachother in the early morning..
I take my jacket off and put it on the floor. I sit down on the floor next to the jacket and I lean on my hands backwards as I wait for the rest to show up. In the meantime I check out the street across from me, the shops were open, Jimmy's barber shop, Marco's grocery, all familiar faces working again.
I yawned and closed my eyes for a few seconds, last night was quite a night, actually managed to find a guy's place to stay at, can't remember his name though, but that wasn't the most important thing anyways..

After everyone had left the most common towns-bar in the early morning I stuck around just for the hell of it. And I turned out to be lucky. I didn't want to go home to face my mother so I accepted the offer of a guy who had been hanging out there all night. It was fun but nothing more then that, What I really wanted was unreachable.. at least for now.

I glanced at my watch and sighed deeply I could have still been in bed, why am I always the first one here?

I walked up the street, actually walking over the bridge so I could climb down the bank to the underneath it. Last night wasn't as fun as I thought it would be ... but still, it was great to be in a small group of friends that had the same intrests as I did.

I sharply turned round the bridge, and slid down the bank. There, I saw Selene sat on the ground. She was usually the first, always to be there. I stopped, and waited for her to turn round to see me.

I grin and speak up "Hello Handsome" I chuckle and turn around, knowing that Jamie was there and now seeing him there. 'Twas about time you showed up, though you didn't miss anything" I tell him 'Things are actually dead and doll today, at least that's what it seems like.." I shrug "So.. you survived last night?" I grin and wink at him, he seemed pretty wasted, but then again, he always makes a somewhat tipsy impression on me.

I laugh, and sit down next to her, sitting on her coat. "Mm thanks for the seat." I said, laughing once more. "Not much going eh? Typical ..." I said placing my arm around her shoulder. "You know ... I must have surived last night - otherwise I wouldn't be here with you." I pretended to be slightly ... hung over. I Slurred my words slightly, and leaned my head on her shoulder as my other hand rested on the other shoulder

"Get a room."
Vanessa made a face as she walked up with Dominic trailing behind her. They were both quite similar looking, with Italian features-- but no accents, except for their Brooklyn ones.
She'd spent the whole night out with Dominic, going from one end of Little Italy to the next, trying to get in on any of the drug deals going down... and they were always going down.

Dominic yawned and dragged his arm over his sisters shoulder, leaning on her.
"Ah, leave 'em alone, Nessa. They're just friends."
He smirked and winked at their two friends, his eyes stopping on Jamie for a minute.
"And drunk... or were drunk."
He took his hand off his sister's shoulders and went to lean against the wall near the other two.
"What'd you two do last night?"

I giggle 'Yeah, well maybe it's an unfortunate thing that you're here again' I say, teasing since that's pretty much all I do.
I look up at Vanessa and Dominic 'At least your brother understands my relationship with Jamie" I tell her and smirk, pointing at the ground for them to sit down aswell
"I was.. busy last night" I mumble 'No deals or anything, Diego and Allessandro weren't even around as usual' I frown when I think back of it 'Something big must be going on then.."

Ralphie raced round the corner with gusto, dying to see his friends at their regular meeting place. Yeah, he liked his friends but today was different. Boy were they gonna be pleased.

'' We're In the Moneeyyy!'' He shouted over the dusty street to his friends,
''I said we're in the money baby! Wait till you hear...wait till you hear it! Hear what I did!''

A wide smirk spread across his face and he ran over and stood beside them, tall and pround.

I turn my attention to Ralphie, "What?! Don't shriek man, we've all got headaches yknow" I mutter

[Allie]

''Well ya'll will be having more headaches soon, because boy we're gonna get drunk...''
I turned and looked at them all
''Billy's. Ya'll know Billy's yeah? The big gun store, well, i got the store off 'im & all the stock too...the guns, the weapons. Everything. All it took was a bit of unfriendly threatening...and now, i swear to god that'll be the best buisness in town. You wait''

I look around at them excitedly...

'''Just you wait and see...''

I looked round to Dominic and Vanessa who made their appearences at the meeting place. I gave them a good wink, and leaned my head back on Selene's shoulder. We were good mates, don't get me wrong. But ... I had always had a - thing for Selene ever since we met.

I suddenly heard the voice of Ralphie shreik. "Ow! Jees man! Head - pain !" I said, then let him continue. I then heard what he said about Billy's gun shop. "Woa woa woaah there man!" I said, and got back into my quirky self. I spun round on the floor, facing Ralphie and everybody else who had just arrived here too. "Go back to all the gory details that you missed out ... I wanna here more!"
