Time and Youth1733 10 years after the curse of the flying dutchman is lifted, Will, Elizabeth, and their son are united. But, Elizabeth's health starts to deteorate. Will asks Jack to take him, his wife, and sun with him to Florida to find the fountain of youth. Problem, Jack agrees, but doesn't have a ship. When in tortuga looking for a ship, he comes across a sight for sore eyes. The Black Pearl. Only, it isn't captained by Barbossa. No, he lost it in a bet to Beckett's daughter; Kristina Beckett. A girl who lost who father at eleven; a girl turned pirate a few years later when her mother died. Sneaking on board, Jack and Will easily kill the crew but spare the girl as she theatren to burn the ship. Jack agrees to keep her on board and on crew if she doesn't burn the ship. [/i] Kristina "Krissie" Beckett stood at the railing of the Black Pearl, as it floats on the water's surface, anchored for the night. She leaned against the railing watching the moon shine in the rippling water. She contemplated the last year. She had had the Black Pearl, after winning her in a bet, for nearly a year; until, in one day her life changed and her ship was taken right out from beneath her feet. Sure, she knew she was on it right now; but, it was not hers.

Jack watched the girl from the helm of the Pearl. He was a bit iffy about her, considering she was the daughter of the man who'd tried to kill him. He was also angry with Barbossa for one, stealing his ship, and two, betting it.He then turned his attention to Will, and the boy.He felt a drop in the pit of his stomach for the kid,the fact that his mother was sick and if Jack didn't reach the fountain of youth in time,Elizabeth might die.

In appearance, the ship was the same; except for a few major differences from ten years ago. The sails, though still black, where completely over hauled; no longer plagued with patchwork. The wood was thouroughly cleaned and polish. And the rigging had been replaced with sturdier rope; the original rope had been fraying when she won it. And, it is obvious that barbossa would not have kept, or brought, the ship back to it's original glory; it was Krissie that spent back breaking hours to clean the ship up.
And now, to have the ship out of her grasp, she felt as if her hard work had been for naught. To not even have the ship for a year.

Will gripped his son's shoulders reassuringly... though his mind was falling into a pit of doom
"Its going to be okay..."

Krissie looked over her shoulder at the kid, in a quick glance, then back at the ocean. She suddenly felt very guilty. This ship had been their only way out of tortuga, and she had threatened to burn the ship down; all because of her selffishness. At that moment when they had demanded her to give them the ship her own fear of loosing something kicked in. She had watched as her small crew was killed; herself only spared because of her threat.

Will held onto his son protectively, before looking up at Krissie... his eyes seeming older than he himself... full of a wisdom he shouldn't have at only 33...

Jack tilted his head at Krissie then shuddered. Trying not to think about her threat to burn the Pearl down. He then felt eyes looking at him from behind and came face to face with Cotton, "Ah...'ere,take the wheel...I go' Captain stuff ta do." Jack said, moving out of the way and swaggering down the steps.

When Krissie heard footsteps going down below deck she turned her head; seeing a tricorn hat disappear below deck. She knew exactly where he was going. His old cabin.
Her eyes widened in realization and she tried to hold in laughter. When she had gotten the ship she had woman-ified the cabin.

Will turned to Krissie, wondering why she was laughing
"There is nothing funny here when my wife is dying..."
He glared to her, his brows knitting together
