" The true thing that one of the things that I did not like of this lady, was his absence of education. It is not important for me that it has been slapped, my ego has not been damaged ":: Beckett it took his hand with gentleness and rubbed her with his lips at the same time that he was looking at her fixedly to the eyes, a few eyes that later were fixed in his long neck of alabaster.

Charlotte knew that Beckett was only doing the lip-rubbing to make her jealous, but she felt good. He wasn't after her...was he?

Amandine smiled down at him, "I see," she said simply, "So you have done nothing wrong then?" Her voice was soft, and she took her hand back to pick up her glass, and drink more of her wine.

Charlotte turned to Jack, who began trying to tempt her with a drink. "Come on, a few sips won't hurt you." She obliged.......
"Yes, a few sips won't, but knowing you, it'll be a few bottles..."

Beckett sighed saying while it was taking a red- wine glass :: " The true thing is that dont know what happened between us, my lady. She ...... leaves myself for a pirate. She and I were compromised in marriage, but according to what I have heard, she fall down love with the pirate Jack Sparrow ":: His voice adopted a tone of displeasure.Looked at the lady fixedly while it was taking the glass to his insinuating lips.

"I wonder why," Amandine said slowly licking some wine from her lips, "You don't seem, or rather, look all that bad." Her hand, in which she held her clasped fan, smoothed over the front of her dress.

Charlotte heard Amandine's last words and smirked. She hardly knew. She and Jack were hidden behind another curtain, this time closer to Beckett and Amandine, though they hadn't planned to.
Beckett and Amandine, thankfully, couldn't hear the giggles and noises behind the curtain as Jack and Charlotte kissed each other quite a bit. Jack pushed Charlotte against the wall and began kissing her even more...as they heard a thump by the curtain. They stopped and Charlotte quietly looked through a hole. She saw someone's eye looking straight back as Jack's arms wrapped around her waist. She held him tight as someone opened the curtains. Her hair and face weren't messed up, in fact, they looked the same - beautiful and new.

::Cutler Beckett smiled at the lady when it heard his sincere words. She was a girl next to him , she was much younger than he, but it was very beautiful. He drank another gulp of wine and only could answer her while for a few moments his eyes looked at Charlotte:: " Many persons consider me to be a cold man and without heart, my lady. A pirates' killer ".

Amandine let out a small laugh, "And, that is what they would call my father, right? Or rather... Every other man in the room at this moment." She let out a breath, "That is the occupation of most men in Port Royale."

Charlotte smirked. Her expression said everything. I am more happier here with Jack than I was with you.
She could see the slightly pained expression in Beckett's eyes as she told the twice-fainted guard to back off, which he did obligingly.
Jack began whispering in her ear. "You know...this is the perfect night for us. But we need to settle some business with that young woman's father."
Charlotte looked at the young woman next to Beckett. She was Charlotte's age...a young 23 or 22. And Beckett was trying to court her. She smirked again. Charlotte let Jack kiss her neck as she said "Yes, we must."
