"Si, mucho" I tell him and I refill his glass as I answer his question 'it's very.. intreging' I say, also searching for words 'the sound is perfect, the sight is perfect, the mythological things that it brings from beneath it is interesting.. si, I love the sea. That is why I live hear, near the coast. Sailing is just too dangerous for a woman, so this is the only way I can enjoy the sea'

I grin slightly, picking up my glass after she filled it. "That's one thing we've got in common then." I conclude. "...The lovin' the sea bit." I wink at her and take a swig of the port. It keeps getting better.

I nod 'yes we do, mr. Sparrow' I grin and get up 'want to join me to the market? I still need to buy the ingredients for diner' I tell him and I look outside. The sun is setting already. It's time to cook

"Sería mi placer." It'd be my pleasure. I grin and get up. She gets her stuff and we leave the house together. And once outside, I offer her my arm to take.

eventhough I know this will cause everyone to start gossipping about me. Look at her, with the young man on her arms. a new one already? I shrug and take the arm he offered me. I don't want to think about anyone else but myself right now. As long as I know I am not doing anything wrong then it is okay. I look up at the sky and sigh a little, hoping that Marcello isn't watching me right now

When she takes my arm a small content grin creeps to my features. Good. So she's not as much of a distance person as I could've feared. Side to side we walk over to the market, where indeed, we are met by many glances. More even than when I walked alone. But it's no surprise, Valencia is a pretty small community and I'm sure everyone's wondering why the hell she's hooked to me arm.
"It seems like we fascinate the lot of 'em." I smirk, indifferent.

I look at the people who stare at us 'si..well.. I should have warned you' Ismirk a little and stay close to Jack, no matter how many people look disaproving. 'Appearantly it is not allowed to have a male friend over for diner when your husband died six weeks ago' I mumble. 'But the grieving-period is four weeks so they have nothing to disaproof' I say, partly to myself to give myself the idea that I'm not doing anything wrong

I never knew there was a period fixed for that. But if she's so keen on sticking to the rule, I guess that's only a good thing fer me. I smirk, "Tis none of their bloody business anyhow, now is it?" I point out.

I nod "exactamente' I agree and I smile at him 'sooo.. you like spanish food?" I ask him with a grin. I'll make some paela for him. 'You will after you tasted my paela' I smile broadly, happy that I can cook so well. Marcello loved my cooking, said Iwas the best cook in the world.. and I really wanted to believe his kind words

"Señora, I've been eating hardtack and dry bread for 8 months now. Just the thought of paela makes me teary-eyed in relief." I assure her with a smirk. We get to the marketplace, but because it's getting later the crowd is starting to thin out.
