"Excuse me... but if you look back in history, the British were the first to call it a purse. It was a small pouch tied to a belt or baldric and used to hold money. It's the ye olde wallet, which they called their purse." Jeff pointed out, sticking his tongue out at her blowing a raspberry. He laughed a bit before, pretending to be serious, "So... what do the British call a diaper bag?" He smirked.

"Dont you give me a lesson on the history of the English Language. I know we called it a purse first, I'm not an complete moron, but your purse is not our purse. You have to call our bag a purse which I dont understand. Why not call a bag a bag and a purse a purse? Nooo... you Americans have to be completely irritating and change our language in every way possible," Selina rolled her eyes. "But to answer you question, we call it a nappy bag, doesnt take a lot of inititive to guess that, does it?"

"Well... you know what?" Jeff said before quickly reaching over to Selina and tickled her ribcage.

"Oh yeah, 'cos that's a good arguement," Selina laughed. She pushed her knees up between them and used them to push him backwards. She straddled his hips and pinned him to the sofa. "Not so clever now, are you?" She laughed, squeezing his nose between her fingers.

Jeff wrapped his arms around her waist and flipped them around so he was on top. "I thought it was quite a good argument." Jeff laughed.
"Alright! Enough you two! I swear you're worse than children." Mrs. Sands laughed, "Play nice Shel... Jeff. She did just have a baby you know." she added with a smile.
"Awww... but mom! You're no fun!" Jeff pouted like he did when he was a kid.

"Yeah Shel," Selina smirked. "Play nice." She ran her fingers lightly across the side of his face and then his lips.
Hannah started to cry over the baby monitor. "Do you want to go or shall I?" Selina asked, glancing over at the tv.

"I'll go." Jeff said, getting up from the couch. He navigated his way upstairs to Hannah's room. Jeff crossed over to the crib, "Shhhhh.... It's okay sweetheart." Jeff said as he reached in and gently picked her up, supporting her head. He held her close to his chest with her head resting on his shoulder and bounced gently as he rocked back and forth.
As soon as she was in his arms, she stopped crying. Jeff felt her diaper to make sure it was stilll clean, and greatfully it was. Holding her against him with one hand, he used his other to go through her dresser and find a cute little outfit for her to wear. It was a onesie with a cute little skirt attached. Jeff found her a pair of socks and shoes as well. He crossed over to the changing table and laid her down along with the clothes on the changing table. Jeff carefully took her pajamas off and then pulled the onesie on, making sure the crotch was snapped closed. Next he found her foot and put on a sock and shoe, then did the same with the other foot. He picked her up again, holding her to his chest with one hand. Jeff found a diaper bag and packed it with a handful of diapers, a box of baby wipes, a few toys, a blanket, and a special blanket made to cover Selina and Hannah when Selina was nursing in public. Once the bag was packed, he threw it over one shoulder and found her stroller in a corner of the room, folded up. He picked up the stroller and walked downstairs with Hannah.
"I think I got everything." Jeff said setting down the stroller against the back of the couch. He handed the daiper bag to Selina so she could go through it and make sure he packed it with all the necessities, "If I forgot something just let me know and I'll go up and get it." Jeff said.
Hannah turned her head so she could look up at Jeff while he talked, then wiggled against him until Jeff shifted her slightly in his arms. She turned and looked at everybody sitting around the living room with bright eyes.
"Oh... I bet she's wondering who all these people are yeah?" Mrs. Sands cooed, standing up and crossing over to Jeff and Hannah.
"I'm your nana." She cooed to Hannah, letting Hannah wrap her small fingers around her finger, "Can I hold her?"
"Yeah. If she'll let you." Jeff smiled as Mrs. Sands carefully took Hannah from Jeff's arms.
She held Hannah craddled in her arms and Hannah looked up at her with confussion, as though unsure if she should be content or cry. Jeff 'looked' down at her and smiled, reaching a hand down to her cheek, near her lips. He could feel the corner of her mouth lift into a smile.
"She likes you." Jeff smiled again.
"Yeah... but she's starting to wiggle... she's ready to go back to Daddy." Mrs. Sands said, "If I hold her any longer I think she might start to cry."
"Well then, back to... to Daddy..." Jeff said, still amazed that he was a father now, as he took back Hannah. Hannah cooed and babbled happily once Jeff held her close to his chest.

"Ok then, I'll just get the bottles and the formula and we can go," Selina said, standing up.
She went into the kitchen and found Hannah's food. She slipped the bottle pockets on the side of the nappy bag. Selina went back into the living room and handed Jeff to bag, taking Hannah off him and hugging her to her chest.
"I'll go and round up the kids," John laughed and headed down to the gamesroom.

Jeff slung the bag over his shoulder and picked up the folded up stroller. "So... what exactly are we doing?" Jeff asked, furrowing his brows, "A picnic right? How do picnics work? I mean I get the gist... seen it in the movies... but do we bring the food with us or... or is there a place we get it? I've never actually been on a picnic... at least not that I can remember." Jeff asked, slightly embarressed.

"We can do either, depends if John and Alisha have the food already made up," Selina turned to Alisha.
"Oh yeah, we've got a basket in the back of the car," Alisha smiled.
"Great, home made picnics are the best kind," Selina grinned.
