"Well excuse me if I don't feel like getting a black eye, a broken nose or have some teeth knocked out." Jeff laughed, "And I am not a wimp. I beat your brother in a wrestling match didn't I? And I was blind... he should have had an advantage over me yet he didn't. So I am not a wimp." He said sticking out his tongue.
"Momma says it's not nice to stick your tongue out at people!" Sarah said.
"When you get to be my age, the rules change sweetheart." Jeff said covering for himself, "At your age and your brothers and sister's age it's not nice."
"How old do you have to be to have it be nice?"
"You've gotta be at least 30 years old."
"Oh... that's really old!" She said.
"Hey! I am not really old! I'm 33... almost 34... I'm not old!" Jeff scowled, then grinned big at her to let her know he wasn't really upset.
"Yeah huh! You're ancient!" Sarah giggled.
"Nuh uh!" Jeff giggled back, "You're ancient!" He teased.

"You're both ancient," Selina laughed. "There, settled." She smirked. "As ancient as Uncle Jeff is, he still has the mental age of a 2 year old ... maybe younger," Selina grinned at Jeff.
"Uncle Jeff's a two year old," Sarah sung, laughing.
"Hey, Sarah, you wanna go play on the slides?"
"Yeah!!" Sarah grinning, jumping off the swing without waiting for Jeff to stop pushing. Selina smiled and took Jeff's hand, leading him across to the slides.

Jeff followed Selina and Sarah across to the big play structure. Sarah ran up to the top, to the tallest slide. Sarah and Jeff stood at the bottom of the slide and waited for her to come down.
"Here I come!" Sarah exclaimed as she plopped down and slid down the slide as fast as she could, "That was fun!" She said running back up the play structure. She went over to the monkey bars and tried to swing across but wasn't strong enough to hold herself up on them, so she fell to the ground. Jeff heard her fall and knelt down beside her.
"Are you okay sweetheart?"
"Yeah... I'm okay... Can you help me Uncle Jeff?"
"Yeah... go climb back up there and let me know when you're there." He told her. Sarah got up and climbed back up to the monkey bars.
"Okay, I'm ready." She said after grabbing ahold the first bar. Jeff reached up to her and wrapped his arm around her legs, just below then knee.
"Okay, reach to the next bar." He told her. Sarah reached out across to the second bar and Jeff held her up by her legs and helped her swing out across. They soon found a rhythem and Sarah was across to the other side. Once her feet touched the platform and Jeff let go, she sat down on the edge.
"Come here Uncle Jeff... real close." She said. Jeff leaned up to her and she suddenly kissed him on the cheek, "Thank you Uncle Jeff. I love you." She smiled.
"I love you too Sweetheart." Jeff smiled, then Sarah was off running around playing all over the jungle gym.

Selina smiled, watching Jeff with Sarah. She walked over to him once Sarah ran off the play. She wrapped her arms around his neck as she stood infront of him. "It looks like someone's got a fanclub," Selina smirked. "I cant believe you ever doubted your abilities as a father. Sarah adores you." She smiled.

"I guess I knew stuff that I didn't know I knew how to do." Jeff laughed, wrapping his free arm around her waist, "I love you too you know." He smiled.

"I know," Selina grinned. "I love you too," She ran one of her hands lovingly through his hair and lightly brushing his cheek. "This is fun," Selina said eventually, smiling. "I'm glad we decided to get out the house ... I thought I was going to go insane," She laughed. "Or perhaps I already am, who knows?" Selina joked.

"Most people would probably think you're insane... just for loving me... just for staying and having a baby with me." Jeff smirked, "This is fun." He smiled. He heard footsteps approach them and heard a baby babble.
"Is that you John?"
"Yeah... Hannah's starting to get a little fussy. She wants one of you." He said.
"I'll take her." Jeff said reaching out and took Hannah from John. He held her against his chest one handed, so her little head and body was supported against his body. "You know... I think holding her would be a lot easier if I had one of those baby carrier things that strap on to the body, you know?" Jeff conceeded.
"I think I saw Selina pack one in the nappy bag." John said, going back to the stroller and found the baby carrier. He went back to Jeff and held it out for Jeff to take.
"You'll have to take Hannah while I figure this thing out... is it frontal or... back-al... er... you know what I mean."
"Frontal." John said taking Hannah from him. Jeff felt the carrier and undid the straps and figured out how to put it on and strap it together so it was secure on him. Once Jeff had it on securely, John put Hannah in the baby carrier so she was facing Jeff.
"Much easier." Jeff said, "Now I have a hand for Bandit's lead and a hand to give my girl." Jeff smiled. Jeff walked over to the swings and sat down on one at the end of the swing set. He told Bandit to sit and stay before he let go of her lead and gently began to swing back and forth. Hannah babbled and cooed, watching the world move back and forth.

Selina laughed at the look of amazement on Hannah's face. She stood next to the swing, out of the way so she wouldnt get hit. Selina gently brushed the top of Hannah's head, pulling the hood of her little jumper up over her ears so she wouldnt get cold.

"Well, considering she's only got two facial expression, cranky and happy, yeah, I'd say she looks happy," Selina laughed. Hannah's little hand reached up as the little girl yawned and stretched. The hand landed on Jeff's chin and stayed there for a few seconds before dropping back down to her side. Selina laughed again and kissed the top of her daughters head and took her hand gently. Selina then looked up and kissed Jeff softly as well.
