I hesitate, thinking for a moment. "England.." I fell back into my own thoughts, of what i used to be. Of how awful my parents were, how they treated everything as objects, everything as a chance to get more money. I was just an object to them, another thing to sell. I'd played their game for long enough, i got away. I want to make my own riches, not be married into them.

"stop laughing" I mutter, putting my head on the table, accidently hitting the bottle so it rolls slowly to the edge of the table, falls off and smashes. I sigh and close my eyes. Why is this strange Ana person here? What's with the strange guy she's with? Why are they here? So many questions, too much alcohol consumed to work them out.

I watch her, thinking the situation is quiet amusing, even if she most likely doesnt think it is. i put my feet on the table and lean back on my chair

I do my best to catch every word of the hushed conversation the pirate is having with another man, who's looking... quite Indian, unless I'm much mistaken. Even though I am quite young, I have a sharp eye on people, at least sometimes I see and notice exactly those who I need.
My eyes dart to Amy, and I see she's confused a bit, it's obvious, 'cause who wouldn't be? At first I wanna leave immediately, then I decide to wait... I owe her an explanation, I guess. "List'n", - I mutter, leaning towards her so that no one else would hear. Though no one would, due to the usual tavern-noise. - "See this man? Behind you, a bit to the right? Don't look right away, will be suspicious", - I pause and wait till she has a glance at him. - "See? I have a feeling that he's a... pirate. That's exactly what we need! If it works out, we'll sail away on his ship!"

When I glance at the man Fran pointed out, I notice his unusual look. His style is different from the men I met before. So when Fran calls him a pirate I'm not surprised. Not surprised, but not glad either. Another pirate? Great, just.. great I bite my teeth together and let my eyes travel to the ceiling for a moment, cursing myself for getting into this mess in the first place.

Evidently, she's not too happy about my suggestion... "Amy, it's the opportune moment. If we let it go, we might as well be hung tomorrow by the neck, as murderers. The both of us", - I say quietly, looking at her.

I know that if we don't flee we will be hang soon enough, but hearing Fran say it makes the situation even more serious. "I know, Fran. It is just.." - I pause, trying to find the right words to express myself with "I find it difficult to realise that my old life is over.."

I frown, remembering myself, when my 'old life' was ruined, shattered to a million pieces... it was a drastic change, and I had to adjust to the worse... But I did, didn't I? And it went all right. Everyone has to pass a certain line in their life, the line that will change everything.
"There always is a choice between what a man can do, and what a man can't do. But if you wanna stay alive and *not* imprisoned, then you have no choice now", - I say calmly. - "Let's leave emotions for later, now we have a plan. How we would make this man take us aboard".

She's right, I should not let my emotions lead me. Our main priority now is to get aboard of that captains ship. For her it won't be that hard, for me it will. I can't sail, nor fight. Why should a man like that take me on his ship?
I look at Fran, clueless. "You tell me."
