"Bella, excited about prom! Now, that's something I thought I'd never see. . .and trust me, I've seen a lot. I'll only tell you about the suit if you promise to get a dress. I'm going to need a date, of course." It amazes me how much people will do to humour Alice. She may be small, but she's very influential.

Oh of course.. the suit was for the prom. That is slightly a shame actually. I do clearly remember last time Alice dolled me up actually. "Hmm.." I sound and look at him from the corners of my eyes. "... I guess Alice will have to take me." I sigh then, because Alice does have a better taste when it comes to this of course and I do want to know more about the suite.

I sigh as if it's really a bother that she's interested in me. "It's black. It has a tie. That's pretty much all to be said about a suit in general." Hey- I had promised her to say more about the suit, and it wasn't far off.

I pout when he brushes it off like this. ".. what colour is the tie and the shirt?" I ask him and keep my eyes on the road.

"Black tie, white shirt." It was very one dimensional, normal, expected. But Alice loves Armani. I know enough to know that Bella gets upset when we speak about getting her a new car, or new clothes, and she feels as if she can't give enough back to us. And by simply not mentioning the designer of my prom-wear, it's guaranteed to save her a frown that I would rather not see.

"Is it pretty?" I insist, the image of Edward in a black suit perfectly well infront of my inner eye and I start to get serious trouble concentrating on the road.

I gently reach over to the wheel, tilting it ever so slightly, directing her back towards the road she's about to drift off of. "Maybe this discussion is too much for you to handle," I say, pretending I'm disappointed with her.

I kind of snap out of my thinking when he tilts the wheel. "Oi.. I'm driving.." I protest softly and look at him from the corners of my eyes.

"Driving," I repeat, a smirk tilting up my granite lips. "In symmetry with drifting, I suppose?"

I make a grunting kind of sound. "I am perfectly well capable of driving.." I mumble and look at him from the corner of my eyes before I force myself to turn my attention to the road. After all.. if we would hit some kind of tree or whatever, the chance that *I* survive would be smaller than that he would survive.. well.. I blink twice to make all the rambling thoughts dissapear.
