She noticed the pensive look on his face and placed a small kissy on his cheek "What are you thinking about? " she whisper in his ear, placing her head between his neck and shoulder.

He was thinking whether she was really sincere about forgetting about the story - whether he could trust her with anything, and whether it mattered. "Nothing." He replied instead though, stroking her hair.

"well for something being nothing is sure keeps you occupied" she placed another kiss in his neck this time and looked at him again, as if she realised something "This is as odd for you as it is for me, isn't it?" She said out of the blue.

"yeah..." She nodded, unable to deny that part, she continued "and I don't know how to take that back either..maybe.." she tried to sit up again, wanting a bit of distance between them "Maybe we shouldn't do this afterall..?"
Carolina stared at the television, a defeated look on her face as if she knew this would end up in such a way.

SHe nodded "I know you think that but.. how can prove that I did give it up? You know that my job is ruined because I can't get that story nor do I think that I still want that story.. I mean.. I'm getting to know you differently, sort of.. well we're starting so...How can I still want that story" Carolina shrugged "I like you too but we can better just leave it at this if we're both too weird about what happened before"
She was pushing it a bit too far to her liking, for all she know Mort could agree with her, take her maybe as a one night stand and then forget all about it. That wasn't her goal..
