"I know, that's why I wanted to tell you.." Carolina her hand through his hair "I'm glad you understand" With a smile on her face she kissed Mort, long and a hint of roughness in it maybe.
I suppose this is it then..I'll sleep with him and .. pray for Rick's forgiveness... should he ever find out..

As he kissed her back though, he was eventually the one to break the kiss up again. He figured that if it troubled her so much then maybe they shouldn't take things too fast, and he didn't intend to push her into anything.

or the forgiveness can wait.. "I can't believe Amy gave you up" Carolina mumbled in a sigh and backed off, feeling that Mort wasn't trying to push anything. She rested her head on his chest again and closed her eyes, actually feeling quite tired..

He put his arms around her, holding her in a protective embrace. "Yeah well, guess she disagreed with you on that matter." He shrugged, not feeling to keen to talk about tis.

Being the gentleman he intended to be, Mort had spend the night on the couch. He woke up around nine though, unusually early for his doing, after having a nightmare 'bout Amy, Ted.. Shooter..

Carolina didn't leave the couch either and laid in Mort's arms, since she had a big enough sofa  Carolina stretched and turned around when she felt Mort moving a couple of times, enevitably, she woke up and smiled at Mort "Morning.. have you been awake for long ?" |
