Robin noticed Roxanna's discomfort, "You've nothing to worry about luv." he whispered smiling,the turned back to Gabrielle, "Why not?" he said, "LET 'UM 'AVE ANOTHER ROUND LADS!" second round of cannon fire filled the air.

Gabrielle tipped her head back and laughed.She was best friends with Roxanna but could never understand why she was so timid..."This is very fun."she said, leaning on the rail of the deck.

Roxanna remembered when Gabrielle would sneak into the castle and tried to convince her to go out and have fun with her, as always Roxanna refused, her father might need her and she was always stuck in those three freaking hour meeting about the war. "She'll never change," Roxanna whispered to herself, she couldn't help but smile upon thinking of those times.

Edrin decided to keep quietrealizing that if Gabrielle found out everything that was going on Roxanna would be in trouble too, and he didn't want to put her in danger. "Has she always been like this?" Edrin whispered to Roxanna, referring to the way Gabrielle was acting.

Roxanna smiled a bit more, "Let's just say this is the calmest she's been all her life," and it was true, other times Gabrielle had been wilder before, for example her fifteenth birthday, yes Gabrielle had made it unforgettable for all the Royal family...

Gabrielle recalled this birthday in a blur.She remebered bits and peices, when she had got incredibly drunk and decided to sleep with the prince of whales...She walked over and linked arms with her friend."Roxanna, you on a pirate ship?Never thought I'd see the day."she said jokingly, eyeing Robin.She always seemed to want someone who was rather dangerous...

Roxanna smiled at Gabrielle, "Ah, but I wouldn't be on a pirate's ship if it weren't for the current events going on, but you'll never catch me on a pirates ship for the pleasure of it," Roxanna said it in a "I'm-one-hundred-percent-sure-of-that-so-don't-question-me" tone.

Roxanna sighed, how could she forget her birthday celebration, wow, that was one quiet hang over for Roxanna, "Yeah, but that's different, I can't control your actions, I can control mine. And for your information my dear friend, I haven't had one drop of rum since that day, but I wouldn't be surpirsed if you told me that when you come over you manage to make me drink some causing one of my morning headaches on certain important days," Roxanna said hinting the day before her father was going to present her possible canidates for her husband.
