Hymn To The Sea

Robin tried to get up without getting noticed and just succeded into toppling over into a pile of buckets. "bugger." he cursed.

Edrin lead his horse over to investgate the source of the sound. It had come from behind the barrels. Peering over he saw a man laying in the sand, he was just picking himself up (at least that's what it looked like).
"Who are you?" this whole thing was getting a little out of hand. First Roxanna now...Roxanna! He turned around, the lady in question was now running as fast as she could, towards the forest. Edrin sighed, and without waiting for the man to answer him, mounted his horse and kicked it forward.

Roxanna had reach sucessfully to the forest, once she thought she was deep enough into the forest, she stopped to take a breath. Roxanna looked around, it looked like she had also suceeded in lossing Edrin, so there would be no problem walking. Roxanna reflected on the events that happened in the last couple hours and finally said to herself, not thinking anyone would have heard, "So it is bad luck to have a woman aboard a ship, always thought that was rubbish, but I will have to cross to England some how," Either Roxanna had been walking for hours or she was going deeper and deeper into the forest... the trees seemed to thicken as she passed, she had to find her way to the shore, ask someone for a ride to either England or Spain. Seemed easy enough, now to remember what way is the shoreline... hopefully south so on walked Roxanna in what she thought was alone.

"Bon sang, she's gone! And that...other man too!" Richard panicked. "Think, think...If I was a young, afraid, desesperate woman...Where wou'd I go?!"
He ran as fast as he could, following the steps these people had both left on the sand, abruptly remembering there was a forest near...As he stopped at the border of the forest, Richard gasped.
"...Comment a-t-elle pu entrer là-dedans?" he said, perplexed.
Why searching her, he suddenly asked himself, as he was about to step into the forest. He might have been French, wars didn't interest him...But that woman was...
" Bah, j'pourrai toujours demander une rançon à son père..."

Edrin slowed his horse, had he lost her? He'd been in here before, she'd be lost forever, since she obviously didn't know the place. Just then he heard, "So it is bad luck to have a woman aboard a ship, always thought that was rubbish,..." he dismounted, after much looking around he finally found her. She appeared to be wandering, heading more or less south. He carefully circled around until he was in front of her. Just then his horse stepped on a large branch, it cracked loudly. "Crap." he muttered.

Roxanna was wondering south when she heard a tree branch snap and someone mutter something. Roxanna stop dead in her tracks, she debated weather run or freeze. She decide to go against her gut and run for it. She kept running south and everything seemed the same. Since Roxanna wasn't paying attention, she tripped over a branch. Roxanna attempted to get up but she hurt her left leg. Roxanna managed to get up, ripping a piece of her dress at the moment it didn't seem important, but she knew she couldn't run, so she walked as fast as possible using the trees for support. Finally Roxanna got tired and rested up against a tree, her leg hurting... aching.

Edrin held his breath, he could hear Roxanna...his horse shuved him with his nose, knocking him to the ground. "OUCH! he wailed, picking himself back up. He wasn't hurt, save for a few scratches. By that time Roxanna had already run out of sight. "Bugger!" he said. Since when did I start talking like a pirate? He wondered. He got back on his horse, at least he couldn't be knocked over from up here! Unless...he thought about branches too late, one slapped him in the face. Maybe I should go back! No that girl is the Princess or England and she wouldn't find her way out alone. He follow what he thought to be her tail for awhile, then he saw a bit of cloth, so he had to be going the right way.
Finally he found her, leaning up against a tree, she looked hurt.
"Roxanna?" he said softly, not wanting to scare her.

Roxanna looked up, she saw Edrin, "Great," she thought, "Can't even escape!" She was in a country where she was an enemy, she had no one to protect her. Roxanna didn't answer at first. After three seconds of an awkward silence all she could say was, "Yes?" Roxanna stopped to think, why would he follow her? Wouldn't he want her dead like the rest of the country? "Do you know who I am?" Roxanna asked, she knew it was a very stupid question but she had to know for certain if he knew. Roxanna felt so many emotions she felt like she couldn't handle them anymore, and not waiting for an answer, Roxanna fainted.

"Oi..."Robin muttered,not liking very much at being left alone.He liked to be involved,even if he hadn't the slightest of what was going on.He went off after the man who had been muttering in French about something,deciding to do what everyone else was doing,and run after the girl. For all he knew,he could become famous.

Richard followed the man in the forest. In fact, it was easy, because he and his horse weren't really discreet. As the rich man stopped, Richard saw the young woman, hurt. There was a small puddle of blood on the ground, next to her left leg. The stranger softly said her name. Roxanna? It was her name name?
...'Ow can I kidnap 'er now? That...man is between us! He frustratingly thought.
As he heard Roxanna asked him who she was, he curiously rose his head. The best he could know about her would certainly be useful for him...And his plan.
