"You won't see him anymore" she promised and let go of Jack, wandered over the deck and ended up at the rail. She leant over and smiled as the dark water was shining up in her face. "I never knew I could miss this so much.. the rocking of the ship, the sound of the waves crashing into the shore..the tingly feeling in my stomach when I have to keep my balance" A smile spread across her face.

"not fair, you're making me jealous" she smirked and leaned back, her back against Jack's chest "The moon looks so much closer from here.. I can stare at it all night.. or in between working the night shift" she smiled "Work comes first.."
It was clear that Demi had missed the Pearl and the ocean. Being on land, amongst normal proper people had turned her into one as well, before Jack came back she thought a lot about whether she even was pirate-material, she was scared that she had forgotten what it was like to not eat three meals a day, go grocery shopping and chitchat with the neightbours..
