"I know, I heard the stories remember?" Demi waited for Jack to board the ship first. Seeing as he was the captain and she was crew herself she needed to act like crew as well. "Show me a cabin and I'll settle in before you can tell me how things work around here and all" she said/inquired.

"Well, yer eager luv, I'll give you that," Jack smirked and swaggered up the gangplank. He ran his hand lovingly across the wooden railing. A few of the crew were loading up barrel of food, drink, gunpowder and other necessary supplies. "The helm's up there," Jack pointed to the top deck. "That's the mast, the bow, the stern," He said, pointing to each as he names them. "Anchor, galley," He stated out the obvious. "You seem smart, I think you can work out the rest,"
Jack led her below deck to the crews quaters. He stopped at the first door. "This is my cabin," He said, running his hand over the wood. "Any problems, go somewhere else," He smirked. "This will be your cabin," Jack said, opening the door to the next cabin. "Make yerself at home,"

"THanks, this'll do perfectly.. is it a coincidence that your cabin is close to mine?" She joked and threw her bag inside. "Where will you station me first? Or should I just help with boarding the cargo?" She didn't need to settle in first. She knew she had to proove herself to the crew and to the captain.

Jack leant on the doorway, his arms folded across his chest. "That depends, what are you good at? Got any skills that'd be useful on this ship?" He asked. "And by the way, no, it's not a coincidence," Jack winked, smirking.

Demi tried to ignore his last comment "well, I'm small so I can easily fit into the crows nest, as for the rest.. I have to admit that I've never worked on a ship before. I know how to fight but I don't know how to do any of these shipduties, but I'm strong and I'm a fast learner so no doubt that whatever it is you'll want me to do, I'll be good at it" She said, full of confidence, eventhough inside she didn't feel too confident about it.

Jack smirked. "You know how to fight?" He said with a raised eyebrow, surprised. "Got a sword or a pistol?" Jack looked her up and down and didnt see either of the items in question, and he couldnt see a sword poking out of the top of the bag she had.

Demi removed her large white shirt a bit to take the gun out of a holster around her pants "Gun, parents didn't allow me to get a sword, they don't know about the gun. Always carry it iwth me, and it's easy to hide" She smirked and shrugged "I'll buy a sword in the next port" she prmised, since a pirate without a sword wasn't really a pirate.

"Good," Jack smirked. "Because I cant protect you as well as myself if we get into some giant pirate fight," He teased. "Tomorrow, I'll show the ropes around the ship, both figuratively and literally," He grinned. "Get some rest for tonight," Jack said, wanting to get back to the tavern and it's wenches.

Demi nodded, sensing that Jack wanted to get back to where he had left off "Okay, I'll do that.." she gently shoved him out of the door and closed the door half, looking at him "Listen.. thanks for the oppertunity. You won't be disappointed.." SHe smiled and then closed the door, leaving Jack outside her cabin.

"Lets hope not," Jack muttered to the closed door. He turned and started walking back up to the main deck. Jack stopped suddenly, his mind telling him he was trusting too easily again, and in actual fact, he still knew very little about the girl he was leaving alone aboard his ship. Jack bit his bottom lip, trying to decide what to do now, tavern and wenches ... or his cabin and keep an eye on the girl ... "Tavern or cabin? Tavern or cabin?" He muttered to himself and groaned when he decided to stay on the ship. It was hardly as if he was desperate, but he never knew how long he'd be away at sea for and liked to make the most of women and rum when it was available. Jack grabbed a fresh bottle of rum on the way back to his cabin, he shut and locked the door and crashed out on his bed.
