"Who said anything about me being wise?" I winked, with a smirk. "In five years I've come to know enough about him, I think I'm prepared enough for when I actually catch up with him .... you don't happen to have a ship, do you?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Me?" I laugh now, "No, not exactly. I'm quite a good hand at ship work, but I 'aven't got the mind or money to Captain one of my own. I've made my way here through a series of ships and passages. And now I'm after the same goal as you. Just don't know where to start. I've been around Tortuga a day or so now, but noone seems to have a lead on the target in question. 'Cept one lass, said he mentioned Europe. Which is a pain, seein' as that's where I've been travelling from. I 'ope it's just a rumour."

"Europe," I thought for a moment. "Well, Sparrow's the right name for that one. He can't ever been tied down to one spot. I've chased him all across the world and every time ... he's just out of reach," I sigh, rubbing my forehead a little. "This is the only place he keeps returning to ... maybe I should just rent a room here and wait for him to come back ... but I suppose I'm a bit like him ... I can't stay in one place too long,"

"If you've searched the world over, I wouldn't say that a land locked room would serve you well. And I won't go into details, but.. Sparrow.. ain't worth the time or trouble. There's no problem with Adventure. But a single man, and an old ship won't change what you get from it, at the end of the day." I give a nod to the barman as he gestures another bottle towards me, "An' I'm not being funny, but if y' spend anymore time searchin' across these here oceans you won't want to settle down. The need to pursue will be a part of yer being."

"Who says I wanted to settle down in the first place?" I asked, the subject of settling down a little sensitive. I shook my head. "...maybe when I was young and niave, but I learnt the hard way," I said "No, the ocean is my home ... I have no intention of settling down."

"So what do you plan to do aboard the pearl, if not to settle down there, as part of the crew?" I question her.

"Well, I'd hardly call a life as part of the Black Pearl a normal settled life," I shrugged, "And I don't intend to be part of the crew," I held back a smirk.

My sharp look devlops slowly into a frown as she speaks.. "What do you intend to be?"

"I think Captain has a nice ring to it," I smirk into my drink.

"Ah." I study her for a while, not sure wether to smirk or frown harder. Instead my expression turns back to quite a neutral stare of disbelief. Part of me appreciates her goal. The other feels slightly harmed. The Pearl was my home once. For a short time. But it was one of the most thrilling stages of my life. And Jack meant something to me. Once. I don't have much to say. I'm still unsure to where I stand in all that. Which is why I need to find him sooner rather than later. "... Aye. It does." I slowly roll out a reply, "but as much as you think you're wise enough to take him on.. you don't *know* him... Sadly once you come face to face, You'll find it much more of a challenge than a dream."
