"When did you last see him?" I asked curiously. "Where was he at the time?"

"Uh.. " I remember that all too well, but I try not to appear too eager, ".. France."

"France," I repeat with a slight sigh. Jack Sparrow really couldn't stay in one place, could he? "What were you doing in Ireland?"

"Making my passage back to the Caribbean. I stopped over there before I left to America."

I nod. "That makes sense, long voyage," I say. The gangplank is raised and the Captain shouts for the achor to be lowered and still I stay where I am ... I'm not doing any work until I'm told directly. "Why does Sparrow have to go to Singapore? Of all places," I roll my eyes. "There are much nicer cities in Europe I'd like to visit,"

"Aye. And Jack's seen 'em all. Singapore happens to be his favorite."

"I'm not surprised in the least," I smirked. "What pirate - what man for that matter - would pass up cheap whores?"

I roll my eyes a little, "Aye.. Hm." Not sure if I like this area of conversation.

I smirk a little, smugly, glad that she didn't seem to like the area of conversation. I was putting together a preconcieved idea of their relationship that derived from Venice's facial expressions and the ways avoided these kinds of conversations. I was glad they seemed to have been close ... it made it so much easier for me to get to Sparrow when the time came to it and I wouldn't think twice about stabbing her in the back to get to him.
