"So if you accidently shot me would you just shrug it off?"

"Well, for one, I wouldn't accidentally shoot you." I said, "I'm a better shot than that. I have never shot a partner of mine, accidentally or on purpose..." I said, "So, the hypothetical is not a reality... it's not something that could really happen. I can tell the difference between US Government issued weapons, which we have, and the kind of weapons a terrorist would possess and I can tell from what direction the shots are coming from. So I wouldn't shoot in your direction."

"Oh don't be so literal. I didn't imply that you would." I push back a few peices of hair that had fallen into my face, "What about.. if you were tricked into doing something that got me shot at." I decide, rolling my eyes a little.

"I'm not easily tricked. And much more paranoid since Mexico. The only reason I trust you as much as I do, is because you work for the same company I do and had to undergo the same background check as I did." I said, "I would never shoot at you. You're my partner, I'll always be aware of your location when we're in the middle of a fire fight." I added.

"... This isn't the point of my question, but nevermind." I cross my arms.

"I know the point of the question, but the scenerio is irrelevent." I said.

"So if you ever caused anyone innocent to die you'd never feel quilty? Not even a little?"

"No... maybe regret for a moment." I said, "But not guilt." I said, "I don't know what guilt is... I mean, I know the official Webster's Dictionary definition.... but what it truly is... no..." I added.

"Hmm, Alright." I shrug, staring back at the ceiling.

I sigh as she falls silent. "So... what do we do now?" I asked.
