I just nod my head, silently. Once I get to the street I turn into it and stop outside the house.. "Okay, what now?"

"Now we go in." I said, getting out of the car with my dog. I walked up the drive and up to the front door. I stuck my key into the lock and opened the door. Since I had been back in Mexico, I've been living with my sister and her kid.
"Hey Sis... I'm home and I've brought company!" I said, not knowing if my sister was home.
"What do you mean company? You haven't had company since you've been back..." My sister, Alyssa, said, "I know you did not bring some hooker to my house!" Alyssa said thinking the worst.
"No, I don't screw around with hookers anyways... My partner, as in co-worker... should be around some where... I told her to come in. I don't know if she's even out of the car yet. But her name is Agent Lynn Webb. We'll be working together on a case, we leave tomorrow but today we're to... get to know one another... you know so we can gain some small modicum of trust since we'll be watching... and I use the term loosely in my case, but we'll be watching each other's backs."
"Where are you going?" she asked, sounding concerned.
"Can't tell you Sugarbutt, it's classified, but I can tell you it's not Mexico and it has nothing to do with drug cartels." I smirked.

I watch him get out and go inside the house, overhearing their conversation as I open the door and finally follow him.

"Ah... here she is." Alyssa said, seeing Agent Webb come inside.
"Lyss, meet Agent Lynn Webb... Agent Webb meet my sister Alyssa Sands." I said introducing them to one another.
"Hi." Alyssa said, "Has he been bugging you yet?"

"Well if he continues to bother you, just smack him upside the back of his head." Alyssa laughed, "I do that all the time. My biggest pet peeve with him is when he calls me sugarbutt or some other stupid pet name like that." She said, giving permission to Agent Webb to hit me.
"Hey! Not fair! No hitting the blind guy!" I said, hoping it would work in my defense.
"Oh shut it, you still are able to block me when I try to hit you so don't even give me this 'pity the blind guy' act. And just so you know, I'm rolling my eyes at you." Alyssa said rolling her eyes. I stuck my tongue out at her.

"You do that. With your special training you might even hit him at a higher percentage than I can." Alyssa laughed.
"Hey! No hitting! It's not nice." I said, not wanting to be hit. Suddenly I heard a pair of running feet then a pair of arms wrapping around my waist.
"Hi Uncle Jeff!" My niece said, "I got an A on my math test!" She exclaimed.
"That's great! You studied really hard for that test too, didn't you?" I smiled.
"Yep! I studied for like... 3 days!" She said, "Hey who's that?"
"Oh... that's my new partner, for work. Her name is Agent Lynn Webb. Agent Webb, this is my niece, Michelle."

"Oh hi.." I give the girl a slight wave and a friendly smile. It's generally a forced one though because im starting to feel a bit uncomfortable.
