I saw her close her eyes and I paniced, "Alexis!" I screaed, shaking her a bit, not too much, but slightly rougher then i should have. "Wake up!" One of the things I hated about her being human was that it took longer for her to heal... What if she'd hit her head too hard... what if she couldn't heal? The thought of losing her made my eyes start to water again.

Alexis eyes fluttered open rather quickly when she heard her mother scream her name and shake her. She groaned a little, not happy about having to stay up when she was so exhausted. "What?"

"are you okay? What's wrong... You have to stay awake.. we'll have you checked out..." I say, having no idea how we'd get her to a doctor, I could never let a doctor look at her, they'd realize what she was. But I couldn't let her stay hurt either.

Alexis did not like to be babied by anyone, especially in front of other people. "It doesn't hurt." She objected, "I'm jus' tired."

"I'm not. I just hit the back o' my head." Alexis yawned a bit, not really feeling anymore pain as the small wound had finally started to heal itself up on the back of her head-- blood still matted into her dark hair though.

Five years ago when he wanted to get out of the bloodsucking business he made friends with a doctor that was fascinated by what he was, he helpe Aden out with a shot that would stop him from craving blood. He was a loyal friend and he could check his daughter out.

He shrugged and got his cellphone out, calling the guy with the message that he needed to check his daughter out.
Aden followed Alexis and Carmen to their place. He looked at Alexis "You shouldn't trust other vampires that easily" He told his daughter
