Alexis nodded swiftly, glad that she had gotten her way as she pulled her hands around to her lap and rubbed her little, raw wrists as much as she could without further hurting herself.

Marie's eye stayed intently on Alexis, like a cat watching a mouse, waiting for the girl to make a wrong move. Her instincts were going crazy, she was hungry, craving the hunt and here was this little girl, her scent so sweet and the blood on her need taunting her ....
Marie had to use all her self-control not to attack the child.

Alexis glanced at her and the way that she was looking at her like she was something to eat. It made her a little nervous and she shifted in the chair a bit, pulling up her legs off the floor, "Why a'ww you lookin' at me like 'dat?"

Marie licked her lips, unable to take her eyes off Alexis. "You'll understand when you're older," She said simply, her eyes flashing red for a brief second before Marie gained control over them, turning them back to their natural colour.

"Carmen!" Areena's voice shouted loudly as she found her way to Aden's hideaway-- not an easy task, but she had an experienced nose for the scent she had to follow quite often. Carmen's blood. "Carmen, I've found a rat!" She was holding the back of the vampire's neck that Marie had sent to tell of Alexis's kidnapping. Caught him when he was trying to deliver the word to Carmen's house.
Alexis frowned a little, but she just curled up in the chair more, nursing her sore wrists and cuts on her legs. "When do I get to go home?"
