"Ye're a smart lass, I see", - Jack smirked and embraced Lola's waist, taking yet another sip of rum from the bottle. - "Let's go, I'll give ye the tour around Tortuga", - he grinned, swaying and leading her to the door.

A smirk crept across my face as I felt his arm around my waist. My plan was working like a charm. "So," I said to him as we walked through the town. "Which one of these beautiful ships are yours?" I spoke in the most flirty voice I could manage.

Kendra had been busy keeping an eye on the new girl as she did her job. Suddenly she noticed her leaving with Captain Sparrow. 'That is so not fair! She's here for a day an' she's in the arms o' Captain Jack Sparrow! I'm here fer me whole life an' he don't even give me a second glance. God I wish I could jus' sail away wif him. He's the only Captain on this stupid rock willin' t' have a woman on board his ship.' Kendra thought bitterly, then decided to chase after her. Kendra threw down the rag she had been using to wipe down the table, then ran out the door of the tavern looking around for Captain Sparrow. Soon she spotted the Captain and the new girl. 'What is her name!' Kendra asked the heavens.
"Oy! Girl!" Kendra shouted before scurrying towards them. When the girl didn't respond Kendra stopped as she rolled her eyes decided to shout the only name of the pair she knew, "Captain Sparrow!" Kendra took off towards them again, finally catching up to the pair. "Oy! Girl, where d'ye think yer goin' eh?" Kendra asked, with her hands on her hips.

I put my arm protectively 'round Jack's waist. Why were people so determined to get in the way of my plans? "We're going somewhere private so we can get better aquainted," I looked up and winked at Jack.

"I's told t' keep an eye on ye an' keep an eye on ye is what I'll be doin'! I'm comin' wit' ye." Kendra stated with a sense of finality in a tone that just dared anybody to object. "Our boss'll ring me neck if'n his newest hire is found in some ditch raped, murdered, or worse... Not t'say ye'd do that Capt'n Sparrow, but there's other less than savory individuals who'll do jus' that t' a young lady in this town an' me boss wants me t'make sure that don't happen t'her. Strength in numbers is what he says." Kendra hoped that her reasoning would be accepted without refute, she really hated being a bar wench. Although it was better than the alternative in this town and there was no way she would ever sell her body just to earn some money.

Stopping in his tracks, Jack turned to face yet another girl who seemed to be obviously interested in him, and flashed a grin at her, still not letting go of Lola' waist: "Oy, luvs, take it easy", - he chuckled at the other one, rolling his eyes. - "Don't worry, I'll get 'er back to the tavern whole an' healthy, ye don't 'ave to watch out, I give ye my word on this".

"You may tell the boss that I am grateful for his concern but like Captain Sparrow said, it is not necessary, he is more than capable of taking care of me," I was getting bored of this conversation. I hated having to act like a helpless little wench. I had to keep reminding myself that it would all be worth it once I got onto his ship.

Landon had gone to the Pearl and done his job to tell everyone the plan that Captain Sparrow had in mind, then he told someone to watch the ship and he went to have fun himself. An unmarried life definitely wasn't bad, it meant you could have whoever you wanted whenever you wanted. That was the life for him.
Adelle had stayed out at the bar she'd found Jack in, even though he was gone. She'd hate to admit it, but she did find Captain Sparrow a charming, attractive type of rogue. Not that she would ever do anything with him, other than one night. It wasn't worth it.

"Let's leave this girl behind", - he whispered in Lola's ear, tickling her skin with his moustache slightly.
"Sorry, darlin', I promise ter come back t' the Bride, and Miss Turton will be perfectly safe, and if not, ye can inform the authorities", - he grinned, - "I bet that in Tortuga it'd be pretty useless anyways", - he chuckled and turned around, leading Lola to the docks.
"Now, where'd ye want to go, again?"

"Somewhere private," I purred into his ear. I could feel myself getting closer and closer to my prize. "How far away is your ship?"
