A New Year 1995

[Hannah]

I walk into the room on that moment, not noticing them yet. I put down some boxes and sigh. After pushing some hair out of my face I look around in the store and finally I spot Jack and Anouk. I whipe my hands on my pants and walk over to them.
"Yoh..!" I grin and sit down.

[Jacky]

I glance over to Ana and grin at her. "Hey there." I lean over and give her a slight hug. "How've ya been doing?"

[Hannah]

I hug him back and grin. "Livin' really.." I tell him and look at his face. He looks good.. really good. "How about you?"

[Jacky]

"I'm great. Better than ever." I tell her, meaning in general. Right now I do feel like I've been in a truck the previous days and got little to no sleep, but generally.. I'm doing good, aren't I? I like my life now.

[Hannah]

"Where've ya been?" I ask him, curious about what exactly he did for the last.. god knows how many years

[Jacky]

"Everywhere.. I've been backpacking from Georgia ever since the day after my eighteenth birthday. I've been around." I smirk. "How 'bout you? What have you been up to?"

[Hannah]

"Well I.." I frown a bit while thinking about what I did exactly. What he did sounds really exiting but it is not like something like that happened here.. "Dunno really.." I smirk and play with that wooden stick thingy that is in my coffee.
".. finally got away from ya parents then?"

[Jacky]

I smirk at that, "Yeah, guess so." I shrug my shoulders.
She hits the nail on the head though. I didn't leave the day after my 18th birthday for no reason. They had nothing to do with me anymore, not even legally.

[Hannah]

"Good." I nod and say nothing more about that. His parents were dicks and will always remain dicks for sure.

[Jacky]

"Do you still live with your parents?" I ask, cos she's got a job and all that now..
