I smirk slightly at her reaction, because she seems more shocked then delighted. Who could blame her. "Yeah. So.. uh.. how about I call you when I get there or something. Maybe we could meet up." I suggest.

Nothing much changed for me really during the time that Jack was gone.. besides some minor details like the fact that he was gone, that I got my own place now. I live in a 2 room appartment downtown. I help out in a Starbucksish like place around the corner from my appartment to earn some money at times. And that is exactly the place where I am now. I am standing behind the counter, sipping some coffee and staring out of the window.

"Don't know, I don't really plan stuff like that." I tell her honestly. How long I stay in cities depends on a load of things , like whether I can get an easy job for a while, whether I like the place and the people, whether there's any cheap place to stay. I just go whenever I feel like going and right now I don't suppose it'll be any different this time around.
I'm running out of change by now, and I realize that I won't have enough to call Ana too anymore. "Hey, do you still hang out with Ana a lot?" I ask Anouk therefore, so she can let her know I'm coming over.. At least I hope Ana'll want to know that.

"Yeah, that'd be good. I'll call you when I get there and stuff, alright?" Basically meaning; when I found a place to stay and took a shower. "I'll call you tonight." I promise. "Gotta go now though." I hesitate. "....'S good to hear ya again, Nouky." I then say.

I notice her hesitation but I don't find it very surprising. I was pretty surprised myself when I even decided to go here - and that was fully in my own control. So I can only imagine what her reaction would be.
"Okay. Cya later." I tell her and I hang up the phone then, all out of change now. I grab my bag from the floor and head outside to where Tony's already at his truck, waiting for me. I climb up to the passenger seat.
"Girlfriend?" He smirks, wondering who Jack phoned.
"Yeah. Sure." I let him believe that, cos it's the easiest.

I put it down and then get up to find my phone book so that I can ring Ana.
I should have probably rung Sam first to cancel meeting up tonight, but really this is a priority now. I'm actually kinda excited... and nervous... about meeting up with Jack again.
I find the number and phone Ana.

Since I do not actually have an own phone in my appartment I told everyone the number of the starbuckish place to leave messages there. Now that i am there, I can actually answer the phone myself and that is what I do.
"Starbuckish place, my name is Ana, how can I help you?" I ask, somewhat annoyed
