A New Year 1995

[Jacky]

"Sounds better than whatcha had before, anyway." I shrug my shoulders, while I search for a package of cigarettes in my pocket.

[Daz]

"I guess." I look over to him as we walk, "Still didn't kick the habit?"

[Jacky]

"Didn't even try." I admit with a smirk, lighting a cigarette soon after. "Dya want one?" I offer, not knowing whether she ever started smoking of course.

[Daz]

"No, Im alright, thanks." I smirk at him, "So what have you been up to?"

[Jacky]

"Uh, lemme see." I take a drag from the cigarette first. "Well. I finished Highschool, anyway. Got a job for two months, then I figured I wanted to do something different. So I packed my bags and took off. Been travelling from Georgia to here ever since then. Yknow, hitchiking, backpacking, whatever. Actually been to a lot of places so far."

[Daz]

"Isnt it a bit dangerous?" I ask him, knowing that its probably a stupid question. Since when did Jack care for danger?.. "I guess its pretty weird to be out so far by yourself."

[Jacky]

"Yeah, it is sometimes. I've been robbed like two times before." I admit, "But yknow.. I like seeing cities like this. I don't mind never really fitting in somewhere.. It's gives ya a cool point of view on places and people." I take another drag of the cigarette. "Besides, I'm not always by myself. There's more people travelling places, sometimes."

[Daz]

"Mmm, I guess." I keep my gaze on him.. "I'd never have the guts to do that. But it dosnt suprise me that you do. You've always had the personality to get away with anything."

[Jacky]

I shrug my shoulders at that assumption, "It's not about that." I tell her. "You could do it just as well. You get used to it pretty easily." I tell her. "It's not hard on days when you've got money, anyway."

[Daz]

"I suppose.. Hmm." I smile a little.. "Adventures do seem fun."
