I wasn't in a great mood. The ship was being patched up, which was absolutely necessary.. but the cost we had to pay for it was that we weren't moving along. Of course the shape of my beloved Pearl was way more important, but this was just another setback in a long row of 'em. I started to think this couldn't be coincidence. Something, or someone, was working against us. Nevertheless, there was little I could do but keep an eye open. And keep captaining my Pearl in the meanwhile. The repairations were coming along quickly.

Uncas sensed a ship, perhaps the second ship he felt earlier, within range of the Pearl. He started the same kind of rituals and made contact with the Captains quarters of ship. Only this time he was trying to get attention from the wrong pirate.
Back in my cabin I continued reading the Mayalogbook, written by an old sailor who stayed with the tribe years ago. Just when I'm about to turn a page one of the two candles on my desk dims and then becomes more bright all of a sudden. "hm.. come on candle, I need you for a little while longer" I mumble while I bring my attention back to the pageturning. At that point however my page refuses to turn and the inkbottle with a feather in it fall on their side, spilling ink. "Goddammit!" I grumble and quickly pick up the inkbottle. When I reach for the feather it somehow manages to escape my grasp and it starts to lead its own life. "What the..." I stare at a feather that is floating towards my book, then it scribles something down.
"Hand me to me momma, I'm goin' mad!" I mumble and grab the book. Black Pearl near. Attack and win the directions were written down as well and I suddenly smirk. "What are ye up to Jacky boy?" I frown, flipping through the pages and then closing the book, staring at its cover "Is Jack sailing towards Mayaisland ? Is that it?" I wonder, my thoughts drifting off to clearify this strange happening.

A cry from the crows nest disturb anyone aboard the Pearl. "Sails ho!" It sounds. The second ship we come across in such a short amount of time. The Pearl is only half ready for battle, some repairs are still undone, and at least three cannons are out of the order. So this news hardly lifts my spirits. Let alone those of me crew. I grab my spyglass and stare towards the sails, to indentify the ship and t' see whether there'd be any danger. "...What the bloody hell?" I frown, recognizing the vessel. I've seen it before at Shipwreck Cove. Captain Ammand runned command at the time. But he had retired from any real pirating quite a while ago. It takes me another minute or so to recall his swashbuckling daughter. Belle-something.
"Capt'n?" One of the crewmembers shows up next to me, waiting for orders. "..Aye. Prepare for a fight, make the Pearl ready for what she's worth." I tell him immediately. Whether I know the captain of said other ship doesn't really matter. The wench is a pirate, after all.

I take out my spyglass and view the Pearl. Whomever sent me the message of attacking the Pearl must have had a decent amount of humour, since there's not much left to attack. "More like take over whats left of it" I mumble under my breath and then shout orders to the crew. "PREPARE SHIP FOR BATTLE, DON'T FIRE UNTIL I SAY SO!" My intention is to scare little Jack at first, let him think I want to blow him to pieces, let him realise that my ship, my crew and I are much stronger then he is.

I'm not the sort of person to sit around and wait though, and I'm making sure every last hand of the crew is armed - every cannon we have left is loaded. The Pearl's been through worse damage, and I'm not willing to let this be the straw just yet..

As soon as the ship is close enough to the Pearl it turns to starboard, now lying next to the pearl instead of facing it from the front. I grab a rope and jump on the rail, looking at the other crew aboard the Pearl who seem ready to fight. "Don't even try it Sparrow! You'll fight yourself to the death if you take this challange!" I yell over to the other side.

Ah. I was right then. Dear bonny what's-her-face, sailin' on her daddy's inheritance. I climb onto the railing of the Pearl on the side where the Maddog lies, facing their captain, my hand losely around one of the ropes. "Don't underestimate it, luv." I flash a cocky grin, gesturing at my ship as if it was a sailing paradise. Ignoring the leaks and broken planks and torn sail for now.

Just as Jack tells me that, one of the sails falls down, catching two armed crewmembers underneath it. "You failed to scare me" I tell with an arrogant smirk, since I have every reason to feel good about my ship, for its the best afterall. "You been havin' some trouble ey?" I ask him, just to make sure whether my assumptions about a mayaboy are correct.

Bloody sail has a bloody bad timing. I don't even glance over my shoulder when it falls down, able to recognize the sound all too well. I return the girl's arrogant smirk with one of my own, golden and secretively mocking. "No, luv, this is how we always make our merry way 'round the bloody world." I state drily..

"No wonder people are less and less impressed by your Pearly then, mate" I roll my eyes. "is there any chance you're after the Mayatreasure, Jacky boy?" I ask him, in a bit of a patronizing way..
