As we arrive updecks, I take a deep breath, peering out to sea.

I follow him a few minutes later and go to find somewhere else to sit and read alone.

Which I gladly leave her. Alone, I mean. I wander to the other side of the ship, musing about our voyage and that strange map, forgetting about Cassandra's antics for the moment.

Instead of reading I watch him from a distance instead, glancing back to the pages every now and then.. Strange man. Even when I think I understand him fully, I don't actually have a clue.

After a while I decide to find that map again. As long as I don't know what it says, it won't leave me mind at ease anyway. So I disappear to the cabin.

Which is where I happen to be. The galley, I mean. While nursing a bottle of rum, I'm looking at that bloody map again - a chinese book by the side for comparison. I look up a few seconds after she enters.

I easily feel his eyes on me but I don't exchange the glance, "Are you coming to socialise anytime soon?"

"Hmmm.. Alright." I tell her, turning my gaze back to the map when she doesn't bother looking over.

I find myself a couple of bottles and start heading slowly back to the stairs, expecting him to follow me, but when he seems to be more interested in the map I reluctantly stop and look back, "Now? Or.. later?"
