Once the door to the mens room closed though, the girl lowered the newspaper and laid it down on the table. She smoothened it with her hand carefully. She knew the former X-men didn't recognize her.. of course not. They hadn't seen her since the change. Not since she got the cure. Mystique got up and walked over to the bar, surprisingly graceful in her (in her opinion) limiting, unchangable body. She sat down next to Storm, and waved the bartender away who wanted to ask her what she was drinking. Her eyes turned to Storm, and settled. A smile curved her lips. "I know who you are." She said smoothly, probably giving Storm a fright.

Storm raised her eyebrows a bit while she tried to hide the shudder that was about to run down her spine. "Ah.. and you are?" She asked as smoothly as she could manage to do in this position

Mystique smiled, "That's not the question. I know who you are.. I'm just wondering what you're doing here." She continued.

Storm pursed her lips. "I am having a beer." She stated the obvious. "But then again I am wondering why you are interested in my beer.."

"Don't play dumb, Storm." Mystique emphasized her name, annoyance in her voice. "What are the X-men looking for in this place?"

Storm now turned entirely to the woman. "Nothing. We are not *looking* for anything." She told her, knowing that she would probably not believe her, even though it was the truth. "Who are you?"

Mystique's eyes flickered to the door where Logan had disappeared before, and for a moment she seemed hesitant whether or not to leave now. Her eyes settled on Storm's again though, and she appeared calm. "I'm no one." She waved it off, "Just another victim trying to avoid the gunfire the government decided to turn on us." With 'us', she meant the mutant community. Despite the fact that she was 'cured' she still considered herself more mutant than human - she *wanted* to. This only got worse when it turned out the cure didn't fix the mutant gene, so the people who took the cure were hunted as well as any other.

Storm narrowed her eyes when she refered to the mutant community in first person plural. "Us..?" She askd therefore. "And none.. who are you when you claim to be none?"

Mystique leaned forward, her blue eyes fixed on Storm's. "You already know me." She whispered.

"I do..?" Storm looked into the deep blue eyes of the woman next to her. "Then why dont you reveal who you are?" The woman who is none.. or everyone.. the person who can be anyone she wants.. wanted.
