"I found us a place to stay." Logan said, leading the way again.
Then suddenly, from above, a roaring snarl sounded. As if he dropped from the roof of the building next to them, Logan fell out of the sky, landing on top of the 'other' Logan and knocking him down. They rolled over the ground, throwing punches at each other. They came to a stop and both got to their feet, facing eachother with equal snarls on their faces. At the same time their claws slided out of their hands.
"Nice try, bub." One of them spoke. "But not nice enough."
"Don't let him trick you!" The other said, more directed at the group..
Mystique watched the two equal looking Logans in front of her. She smiled slowly.
"...What the.." Bobby took a step back, raising his hand to freeze either of the Logans.. he just didn't know which. "What's going on?!" He sounded panicky.
Mystique's eyes never left the two men, who were still facing each other, a feral hostility between them. "A shapeshifter." She said with a smile in her voice.

Kitty looked at the two logans and narrowed her eyes. "Working for *them*?!" she grumbled and moved over to mistique.
"How do we find out who it is?!"

"Well," Mystique turned her eyes to Kitty slowly, more fascinated by the scene than panicked, in contrast with the others. "....If Wolverine kills the shapeshifter, he or she will turn back to the original form." Her eyes went back to the scene in front of them. "If the shapeshifter kills Wolverine first, he'll just stay our good ol' Wolverine. Only dead." She smirked.
Bobby frowned, "..Isn't there an better way than that?!"
Ahead of them, Logan and the shapeshifter started circling around each other. "Doesn't sound too complicated to me." One of them spoke up. With a roar, he launched himself to the other, claws popped. The other dodged the attack and kicked the first in the back. This one didn't hesitate one second though..
The impact of the kick send him a few metres in the direction of the group of mutants. He rolled over the ground and got to his feet. Then, he threw towards the most vulnerable of the group.. Rogue.
Rogue screamed she saw the lethal claws coming her way, she stumbled back in fright.
Before anyone could see what happened, the other Logan threw himself inbetween the two though. The claws of the two men smashed together. But... The clash was soundless, one Logan's claws cutting effortlessly through the claws of the other.
"Oh.." Mystique said, "That's another way to find out.."

Storm watched the scene with big eyes, undecided about what to do. Once Logan's claws cut thourgh the shapeshifters claws, she got into action though. "Make sure he wont get away!" She yelled at kitty who quickly ran to the shapeshifter who now slowly turned back into his original form.

Mystique was watching the scene in a mixture of fascination and envy.. Envy to the shapeshifter who still had his powers, unlike her. So when the shapeshifter started running, she didn't wait and leave it up to Kitty to stop him. She crouched down, grabbed a big rock of the street, and hurled it after the escaping mutant. The rock hit him in the back of his head, and he fell down unconcious on the pavement.
With a grin of satisfaction, Mystique figured that she was now even with the enemy shapeshifter who bragged with his gifts in front of her like that.
"There you go." She told the others.
Meanwhile, the back of the group, Rogue's eyes were edged with tears. Logan was at her side, holding her, comforting her. But when his gaze went to the now unconcious shapeshifter, a hostile look came to his eyes. "..What kind of a mutant would work with a party who's against mutants?" He grumbled.

Bobby was at Rogues side too, while Kitty looked at them with a mixed feeling before marching off to get the unconcious body of the shapeshifter. She looked down at his face, not remembering that she had seen him before. She grabbed his arm and tried to pull him along.. but that didnt work. She looked at the others for help.

Logan left Rogue's side and went over to help, picking the guy up over one shoulder, so he could carry him and walk. "We gotta get off the streets." He said. "We have to take this guy out of sight."

"Certainly." A cold voice behind them said. Kitty spun around and police officer was standing infront of them.

They all turned to face the police officer. Logan dropped the shapeshifter of his shoulder pretty ungently, so the man met the pavement with a loud thud. At least Logan had his hands free that way though.. and he clenched them into fists, ready to do whatever was needed if this police guy wanted to play any tricks.

"Did you like it?" The police officer asked, nodding at the shapeshifter, while he came closer. Suddenly he grinned broadly. "This way please," he said and turned around, walking awaay.
