ooc: no you can make up your own if you want
Joanna tried to fight back tears as she said he vows
"Hector Barbossa", she began. "I love you more than anything life has to offer me. During the good and bad times, you've always been there for me. You are a wonderful person. Nothing else could've earned my love."
Joanna started choking up.
"Oh, I love you so much, Hector."

ooc: Yea Thats what I was trying to figure out.. A piratey way of saying wedding vows but I'm not having any luck. Barbossa smiled with Joannas words. This was the moment he's been waiting for, for a long time. After saying his vows to her, he placed one hand in the small of her back and the other on her cheek and kissed her more pasionatly then he ever had before. *Timeskip* After finding the most safe port for Joanna and Joseph, Barbossa bought them a nice little cottage, over looking the sea. He left them with more then enough money to get by on their own untill the next time he would be back to see them so Joanna would never have to find a way to make money. The goodbyes were they hardest thing for both of them to go through, but it was something that had to be done. Barbossa kissed his son on the forehead and hugged his wife. "I'll see you again one day, I promise." He whispered in her ear just before setting sail on the Black Pearl. *Timeskip* More then three months has past since Barbossa left Joanna and Joseph on land. The pain he felt in his heart has never been stronger. He walked in his cabian late that night and sat at his candle lit desk. A million things where running through his mind, but when he finally cleared his thoughts, he picked up his quill and dipped it in the ink and began to write. Sunday 12: November 1745.
My Dearest Joanna,
I apologize for not writing as often as I'd like to. Truth is I have been so hard put for time that I have not been able to do so.
The East India Trading Company is at it again, this time after Turners heart. I've already lost more men then I'd like to admit. There was an attack on the Pearl today, but they wern't much of a match against The Pearl, not with Turner by our side with the Dutchmen.
There was much damage done to The Pearl so we've docked at Nassau Port for the night. Theres Navy men running around everywhere, so theres a good chance we'll be setting sail sooner then I would have hoped, in attempt to keep up from getting caught.
If you wish to write me, I have arangments with the tavern owner in Tortuga. You may have any letters sent there and I will retrive it apon making port.
For your's and Josephs safty, I presum it will be a bit longer then I promised, before I'll see you again. But I will make it to you, that I can promise.
My heart aches for you my love. Wish me luck and give my son a kiss for me, my dearest.
I am affectionately yours,
Hector. Barbossa set down his quill and folded the sheet of parchment and sealed with his own custom wax stamp that bore his initials, 'H.B' in fancy lettering. Once getting the letter out, he returned to his cabian and ploped into his bed. He hoped there would be a letter at the tavern for him the next time he goes there. He missed Joanna and his son more then anything and couldn't wait to hear from her.

Joanna felt more alone than she'd been in her whole life. Ever since Barbossa left, all she'd done was cry, waiting for the day she'd see him again. She got his letter saying how he was attacked. Joanna needed to write to him now.
My darling Hector, You have no idea how happy I am to hear from you. You were attacked? At least I know you're safe. I really miss you, darling. You should see Joseph. He's looking more like you every day. I hope you'll come soon. I send all my love. Forever yours, Joanna

Babossa steped off the Black Pearl, onto the dock at Tortuga, that cold, December afternoon. As his boots splashed in the rain puddles in the street, he noticed that Tortuga wasn't as alive, and wild as he once remembered it to be. The moment he entered the tavern he found himself face to face with the barral of a gun. "Cap'n Barbossa?" The man said, as he lowered the pistol. "My appolagies, we'ave ta be on our gard more now then ever." He explained.
The bar tender set Barbossa up with a small, candle lit room above the tavern and gave him the letter Joanna wrote him. As he read it, he could almost hear her voice, speaking the words that where on the parchment. It was good to know that his son was growing to be like him. All this took his mind off the problem at hand.
He once again sat at a candle lit desk, to write Joanna, only this time in his room over the Tavern.
Friday 16: December 1745
My Dearest J,
I reseaved your letter today, and it brought a greatest joy to my day. I'm thrilled to hear you and our son are ok. I'm worried that the East India Trading Company will soon find they way to that port, so I've decided to keep my identity discreet in all my letters, and I suggest you do the same.
Apon my arival in T, my good friend, the Taveren owner held a gun to my head before her realized who I was. After he learned my identity, he filled me in on everything. It turns out Lord Cutler Beckett didn't die in the attack as we all thought. He found his way here having everyone convicted of piracy facing the hang mans nouse.
My good friend also told me that Jack Sparrow has gone missing. Some think he has been hanged, but it's all uncerten. I fear it's not much of a pirates world anymore.
I hope things are still good for you back home. I'll see you in my dreams tonight my love.
I am unconditionally yours, H.B.
Barbossa climbed into the bad and under the covers. He closed his eyes and seen Joannas face. A small smirk crep up over his face then fell off just as fast. When he finally fell a sleep he did just what he said he would. He dreamt he was back at that little cottage with his wife, looking out the window at their son playing in the yard.

Joanna recieved Barbossa's letter. She was starting to worry about him. Beckett was alive. Jack Sparrow is missing. She hoped Barbossa would be okay. Joanna looked in the other room and saw Joseph playing. He was growing bigger every day. Joanna sat down to write.
My darling H,
I got your letter. I'm worried for your safety with all these things happening. Please write everytime you can that way I'll know you're safe. I really miss you, darling. Our son is growing. Just the other day he said his first word. He said "dada." I love you, H. I'll see you in my dreams, too.
I'll be forever yours, J
Joanna pulled out the locket Barbossa gave to her many years ago. She opened it and looked at two pictures. One was a picture of him. The other was a picture of them together. A tear escaped her eye.
I love you, Hector.

My Dearest J,
My apologizies for not writting, seem to be more and more frequent, as time goes by. I beg of you, please do not worry for my safty, for I am stonger, and have been through much worse times, then Beckett and his men know.
Is everything still safe back home? If so, that is one, of very few ports left that have yet to be invaded by Beckett and his men. Are you in need of any money yet?
Contrary to popular belief, J.S. was not hanged. The crew and myself found him, once again, on the Pelegostos' Island. He now sails under my command on the B.P.
Give my love to our son. Whenever you begin to feel lonley, just look up at the moon at night and remember, I'm looking up at the same moon and for that small moment, as tiny as it may be, we are together again.
Untill then, my beloved, H.B
Barbossa dropped the Quill on the desk next to the neatly folded letter. He stood up and walked over to the bars of the brig, Jack Sparrow locked him in a few days prior and began thinking. 'Joanna mustn't know. She can't worry for me anymore then she already does.' He thought, and began looking for the best escape route.

ooc: so I'm back in? cool! ;D
bic: Captain Jack had been on his long journy. He realized after a few days that he couldn't get to the fountain in his small ship so he went into port and stayed there for quite some time. He was down by the docks one day when he saw, to his increadable happiness, the Black Pearl floating with no one on it. He quickly got on board and looked all over. He was very happy to have his ship back. Then crewman came onboard, and they didn't seem to want to get rid of him because they had known him since their first voyage on the Pearl. when Barbossa had come the men seemed to be on Captain Jack's side. He had Barbossa locked in the brig so as to make sure that he wouldn't try to persuade the crew into marooning him on some spit of land... again...
