Joanna lifted up a hand and tried to reach for Barbossa's.
"Hector, I've missed you so much. You saw how much Joseph's grown. He looks like you, doesn't he?"

Barbossa took her hand. "Aye, he has grown, hasn't he." He said with a smile. "Now hush, love, don't wast your strangth." He told her.

Joanna's hand fell limply at her side.
"Hector, darling", she said. "Don't ever seperate us again, my love. Please."
She looked into Barbossa's eyes.
"I love you."

He slimed. "I wont. I love you too," He said then stood up. "now get some rest." He placed a light kiss on the lips and one on Joseph forehead and made his way for the door.

Joanna was so happy she and Barbossa were together again.
Hector, she thought. I'll never leave you again.
Joanna laid back down to get some rest. It was going to be a while before she felt like her old self.

Barbossa cared for Joanna as best as he could on their way to a safe port. After a long week and a half they finally made it. Barbossa went in the room to get Joanna. "C'mon Joanna, we hafta get ye to a doctor." He said as he held Joseph in his hip.

Joanna struggled to get up. She managed to get out of bed. She almost fell when she tried to stand up, but Barbossa was there to catch her. Joanna put an arm around him and tried to walk.

Barbossa and Joanna walked the whole way into town with her leaning on him and Joseph on his hip. When the finally found a doctors office Barbossa pounded on the door. Just as a man in a doctors uniform answered the door, Joanna calpsed to her knees. "Please help." He said "She very sick, I'ave money." He pleaded, noticing the funny look he was getting. The doctor could clearly see that he was a pirate.

Joanna was taken into a room. She had trouble staying awake.
"How long have you been like this?" she heard the doctor ask.
"4 weeks I think", she coughed.
Joanna wanted to rest. The doctor told her to lay down so he can examine her. He did many tests on her.
"It seems you are suffering from a form of sickness caused from cold temperatures and starvation."
"Is it bad?" Joanna asked.
"You will need to be treated", he answered.
ooc: i didn't know what to give her. it was all i could come up with

ooc: Yea I don't really know what they did back then med. wise, I probablly would have posted the same thing lol.
bic: Barbossa played with Joseph, trying to keep him calm while he listened to what the doctor was saying. "Treated? Will she be ok?" He asked.
