Joanna wanted to protest. She decided not to. She heard Joseph starting to cry. She picked him up.
"Did Papa take care you?" she asked.
She looked at Barbossa. She smiled at him.
"You are a wonderful father, Hector", Joanna told him. "I love you, darling."

"Just water please", Joanna answered. "I'm very thirsty."
*timeskip*
Joanna was starting to feel better. As she recovered, she and Barbossa talked about what happened when they were seperated.
"I didn't know how to handle being away from you", Joanna told Barbossa. "When you left, all I did was cry, waiting for you to come back.Whenever I wanted to see you, all I did was look at Joseph and the locket you gave me. I really missed you. What about you?"

"I read yours everyday, too", Joanna said. "They were the closest thing I had that somewhat had your voice. I swear, when I read those letter, I heard your voice."
She wrapped her arms around Barbossa.
"Hector, love, I never want to leave you again."

ooc: even though it's all you can remember, it's still pretty good.
Joanna smiled as she saw that Barbossa kept all her letters.
"Hector, I've been thinking", she said. "We have a ship now. We're together again. When Joseph gets a little older, you wouldn't mind more children would you?"
She noticed Barbossa had a shocked look on his face.
"Darling, I know this is a lot to ask for, but wouldn't it make you happy? Having a nice family with me? Joseph will get lonely, you know."

Barbossa was happy and sad at the same time. "Yea i would, but ye know that means we'd be apart again." he said with a frown.

"We don't have to be apart this time", Joanna said. "You took care of Joseph perfectly fine when I wasn't able to. Our future children can be raised on a ship."
Joanna wanted to do anything she could to change Barbossa's mind about seperating them.
"Hector, I'm not leaving you again", she firmly said. "You should know by now. And don't tell me it'll be unfair to keep them on a ship because of our traveling. When Joseph and I had to leave our home, do you think we were able to eat or drink anything during those weeks? Do you think that was fair? Our children will be strong. We can do this together, my love."

He thought about how she was strong when she was a child which made him change his mind. "Aye, yer right I suppose, But the first time 'ne of our children get sick because if it, I don't want them on the ship 'nemore." he told her
