Kara rolled her eyes. It was begining to get dark and she could see 'Sam's' eyes begin to shut. this was working much to her favor. All she had to do now was wait. By the look of it she wouldn't have to wait long.

Beckett didn't want to fall asleep, but he was so very tired. He unhooked a flask from his belt and took a sip of vodka. He look over to Kara drowsily, "Want some?" he asked; not acting, just out of courtesy.

Kara thought about it. "Na" she said "I prefer rum" she saw that his eyes were only half open. She could tell that he was fighting to stay awake.

Once the crew had gone to bed, Jack need a bottle of rum while he looked over his maps. When he went to the gally to get it, he he decided to check on Kara and sam and heard them talking. He listened and could tell kara was waiting for him to fall asleep but didn't know why so he listend.

Beckett's eyes finally clamped shut, he was unable to open them again
"Dad? Can I please go outside?"
"Quiet Beckett. You need to focus on your studies."
"But-but, Quigley is outside and so is Jeffreys!"
"Yes, but they will grow up to be sailors and whore-mongers. If you focus on your studies you can grow up to be a great man."
"Yes, father."

bic: Kara saw that 'Sam' had fallen asleep. She then started fishing through her pockets. She found what she was looking for. It was a spare key. Her old crew had given it to her incase the other set went missing. The other crewman weren't exactly good at keeping track of things. She reached her arms through the cell door and after a bit of searching found the key hole. She turned the key and was able to get out easily. As she started heading above deck she stopped dead in her tracks. Captain Jack stood infront of her.

Kara got an annoyed look on her face, took out the key, and dropped it in Captain Jack's hand. "So what ye gonna send me back down there?" she asked arms crossed.
